Most of their staff are rude. Gave me and my friends so much attitude. If you’re not a afakasi, from overseas or rich, guaranteed you’ll get the looks and a waiter trying to take away your plate before you’re even done kind of treatment 🚮 it really be your own people.

A perfect small island to relax and unwind or celebrate and make more memeories! Excellent service and friendly management and staff ❤💙

Whether it's for a romantic get away or a family staycation, Taumeasina has it all covered. Room service, maintenance, customer service were all 100% amazing. All amenities are thoughtfully designed with families with young children also in mind. There is something for everyone to do. The staff from receptionists, the kitchen-bar crew, the gardeners, janitors and absolutely everyone were friendly, helpful and served with a smile. I had my daughter's 21st in January 2020 at Taumeasina and it was the best! The service provided was amazing as well as the workers were all so nice and genuine. The bar was the best as well as the food, it was on point Our family had an absolute blast at Taumeasina. It was worth the money, awesome resort with a great atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Endless daily activities, great entertainment at nights as well. We'll definitely stay at Taumesina again.

I stayed at Taumesina Island Resort last week and absolutely loved everything about it. I felt relaxed from day one. The staff were amazing. Great entertainment. Lovely rooms with comfortable beds. I can't wait for my next visit!

Beautiful resort but OVER PRICED for such small rooms. I wouldn't recommend for families with more than 2 kids. Chances are most of what your paying for the is 360 view. If your looking for a "Resort" with more space to move around in the rooms there are dozens of other options in Samoa. PROS: Their restaurant offers amazing food! and great selections for breakfast.

Great resorts good environment for Samoa and the tourist, Villa suites was awesome lots of room the balcony over looks the ocean and the weather is the best nothing can beat that, the pool area is great, the floor shows was awesome it’s the BEST Place for the tourists and Samoa!

Beautiful location and amazing staff — nothing is a problem. We loved having the option of the pools and beach for swimming. The rooms and facilities are wonderful. The staff doted on our young son. Fa’afetai lava — we will be back!

Beautiful location n Seaviews love the rooms very spacious, however our room had no soap asked the reception for soap and was asked why I needed soap for how dare can they ask me a stupid question every hotels I've visited have all toiletries supplied anyway It took 10hrs to finally deliver after 4 more requests. The food is terrible I think I can cook far better than the chief chef we ordered sizer salad waited for almost an hour before we got ours but my god the bacon tasted very old n way too salty like some leftovers from the night before the veges were soaked in mayo probably mixed with milk and no flavors at all also way over priced. Remember the best advertisement is by mouth please improve your customer service. Thank you. … Falaila Sione Sialaoa.

My favourite resort in Samoa! Staff are the reason I keep returning, they are so friendly and help me out with anything I require. I love the atmosphere and the awesome theme nights (Ladies Night, etc) There is something on EVERYDAY at Taumeasina so you never have to leave the resort!

It was a beautiful place to stay. It had everything at your fingers. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Facilities were great with being able to use most things for free. I went with 5 other ladies and enjoyed it thoroughly fiafia night was wonderful. I can't think of anything bad to say.

Nice resort at first sight, but disappointed in the rooms, not as clean as expected when arrived. At dinner the first night we saw a mouse run across the pool area and outside dining area. Two days later at breakfast saw another mouse run up the inside of breakfast buffet and then roaches in lobby. For as much money this place cost it should be a 5 star resort. Not up to the standard or hype. The owner should make major changes to staff training in housekeeping ect. The people though were very nice and friendly.

Very pleasant and relaxing resort to stay at in Samoa! This resort is on its own island and is surrounded by clear and calm sea. There are many swimming pools to choose from which are for guests only, not visitors. There is a restaurant too which looks out towards the sea and pools which makes for a superb vista. The resort is very well managed and is clean with a range of activities for guests.

Not exactly the island vibe I was after. Customer service needs improvements in it's many departments. Phone transfers kept going to the wrong department from internal transfers. In the end gave up trying. Bell boy both on check in and check out took forever. Helped carry the luggage on both occasions to speed things up. No trolley on exit and we were on the second floor. Food variety and flavours also need improvement. If your looking for a flash hotel on the islands then this is the place.

Nathan Bucknall has pulled together an awesone team. We've enjoyed 6 days of great service and food. Thanks team Taumeasina! We will definitely be back.

Great hotel, located in the village of Moata'a, only 5 minutes outside Apia. Fagali'i airport is only 5 minutes away for those who fly in and out of neighboring American Samoa. Their bar/café serves decent coffee and delicious desserts, with a stunning ocean view. Rooms are quiet in the evening, even if your located near the bar area where they have performances as night.

Great place, kids loved it. Breakfast buffet was delicious with enough food to get you through until dinner time. Lovely staff and great facilities. Kayaking and snorkeling or hang out by the pool. So close to the city. Perfect resort for a holiday.

Great place for a relaxing holiday! Pools, gym and beach area were great and the food reasonably priced.

Stayed for a week in one of the villas. Our group managed to land the night of cyclone Gita and our place got slightly flooded. I wrongly assumed that housekeeping would be making the rounds to check on the status of rooms and handle accordingly but it took several calls to get them to wet vac the soaked carpet. In general the staff is super friendly, the facility is beautiful, etc. That said, I feel like if everyone working there got to experience a 5 star resort firsthand that the service would be more consistent. There were many times we'd be waiting around for a refill on water or if we were at the bar people would be standing around but no one made eye contact with us so we could order drinks. I don't think any of us were expecting constant hovering 24/7 over our every need, but everything just felt like it took a little bit longer than it should have. Would love to come back even with that small hangup. It was really a great experience.

Very nice hotel! The hotel is on its own island. The rooms look like they are individual houses. The suites can be very pricey. The pools are nice and always clean. Right off the pool area they have kayaks and life jackets if you want to go explore the beach. The bar and restaurant are both nice. The mocktails are my favorite. As large as this place is, it never feels crowded. The staff are friendly.

Best resort place to stay at in Samoa for good reason. Nice rooms with a view of the Sea. Food and drink are well priced and quality. The bar happy hour from 5 to 6pm is excellent and cheap by most standards. The entertainment by 'Cindy of Samoa' is world class.

I hate to do a bad review but you can’t improve if you don’t know right. Venue is beautiful of course, I went there for buffet about 3 weeks ago for a 21st birthday, buffet dinner cost $90 pp. My review is based on the food and I have to say one of the worse buffets I’ve ever had. They had a beef lasagna that was actually a chicken lasagna literally penne pasta and c hockey pieces and pasta sauce from a bottle but tasted like nothing else. Salad was lettuce and half cooked bacon coulda been pastrami? Lobster overcooked and dry, they had pinacota which is meant to be custard, it tasted like egg they had cooked then yolks, chocolate cake could only taste baking powder really baaad, apple pie was the worst tasted like canned apples barely could taste apples and they sprinkled it with some cake or biscuit crumbs that had no brown sugar and wasn’t even toasted. Tbh the only thing I liked was the steak. I’m disappointed coz honestly I make better food than the dishes that were there and I’m not even a good cook. Really really dissappointing especially for 90.00.

Great place. Attentive quick service. Food and beverage is great, also unexpectedly quick service and high quality food. The pools are superb as is the snorkeling in the surrounding ocean, plenty of fish, coral and hermit crabs in a secluded spot.

A beautiful and clean resort with some traditional style houses. The staff make you feel welcomed and just absolute great service. This will not be my last stay… I'm coming back.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this resort! It is worth the price, the rooms are beautiful and clean, the food is so good and every employee is so hospitable! Nothing here in Samoa compares to this resort, trust me. I highly recommend it to everyone coming to visit beautiful Samoa. Thank you Taumeasina for having us on our honeymoon.

Hands down the best resort in all of Samoa! They have really great food, very hospitable, and make sure you are taken care of. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and have a lot of different activities to do around the resort! Thank you Taumeasina for everything. My wife and I were here for our honeymoon and stayed for 4 nights and loved it. We wanted to try other hotels or resorts so we went to a different resort that was rated about the same as Taumeasina. We went there and it was nothing nearly as close as Taumeasina! So we returned to Taumeasina for the rest of our stay! Definitely worth the price! We will be back!

Nice hotel but the food and service could be improved.

My husband and I stayed here and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay what stood out most for us were how friendly and welcoming the staff were. Food was good. Great evening entertainment by the poolside bar be sure to catch their fiafia night. Plenty of things to do whilst on the resort.

Awesome place! Great views… everything was great except for the food… over priced and not cooked well… ordered a pasta through room service and didn’t even come with half the stuff mentioned on the menu and they forgot part of our order and said “sorry we forgot your garlic pizza”… (you can’t just forget something and not even cook it-unprofessional) then when we ordered a garlic pizza during the day next to the pool they over cooked it, cheese was hard and the actual pizza had shrunk. At breakfast some of the food available was burnt also. Staff members bringing out the food from the kitchen were dripping sweat from their foreheads, surely that’s a health and safety hazard! staff members behind reception were rude as well… all other staff members were great! All in all great place to stay! For the price you pay you don’t wanna leave the place. Make the most of it! New Years here was an unbelievable experience! All the activities are awesome, and the weather was perfect for our stay! Definitely would love to
come back but…

I haven't spent a night there yet but the food has to be the best amongst the resorts in Samoa.

Great management team with friendly and helpful staff. Service was excellent all round. Rooms have amazing water views, we lied in bed every morning looking out to the ocean with a glimpse of Apia on our left, watching the waves break on the rocks and the ships cruising by on the horizon. There is enough activities to keep you busy at day or just laze on by around the pool and at night the bingo, movie and quiz nights were well received. The Fia Fia night (held only on a Saturday) was a great welcome and the seafood chowder was the best I ever had. Food was ok overall, focus is more on catering for the locals we think as there was a few items to select from, some tastier than others. Overall an awesome experience at a terrific resort. Yes, we'll be back and intend to bring some friends along.

Amazing resort to stay at. Have stayed on a few islands now and Taumeasina Island Resort has definitely been the best resort by far. We had a fantastic view from our room, room service was great and very friendly staff. The food from the restaurant was great with a different variety each night. Good to see all staff doing their jobs and seeing management around the resort.

Went here for the Seafood Market night and it didn't disappoint us, great ambiance, fresh local seafood and cooked with ur choice of their cooking sauces, staffs looked after us well and made sure everything is perfect!

Immaculate presentation! Staff are so friendly professional and accommodating. Clean and well presented. Interior design is phenomenonal.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Pity there's not another star I can give. Facilities are world class and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. I wouldn't stay anywhere else on the Island and looking forward to going back next year.

Amazing place, we stayed here for 2 weeks and I have to say the staff very quickly became friends and the resort had a very homely feel to it!

A Samoan version of western luxury. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable. A few problems with my booking and I wasn't picked up from the airport as I had purchased, this was fixed however nothing extra was offered for the inconvenience. Breakfast buffet is great. Evening meals and room service meals were nothing great. Spa services weren't very good (referring mainly to pedicure) but lovely facial and nice atmosphere. I really loved relaxing here and felt very safe and in comfort. I also really enjoyed the complementary snorkelling gear and went out in the private beach. Stunning!

One of my favourite places at the moment had good food and nice staff only thing that was bad was how longit took them to make the food but overall number 1 recomandation.

Very beautiful officers are very hospitable and approachable. The place very clean and comfortable sand very beautiful.

BOTTOM LINE: Samoa's fancy, and beautiful new resort showing growing pains with service and low value for price paid. Staff can't handle a busy week. They mean well, but when push comes to shove, staff capacity is still far behind comparable 4 star hotels. It took 4 people to reserve my room, I had to repeat the same thing four times. Ask for a crib and wait an hour, then ask again, and then a third time. I had to follow the staff to where they store the crib to finally get what I needed. Even the man working the parking circle for check in didn't seem to know the purpose of the circle, and made me park really far away, when I was there to reserve a room. Small room with king bed costed $200 USD. Very new, and modern. Beautiful design. Strange room layouts, and cramped.
