It's very Nice experience… it's best place for staying in Savaii. Special thank you to chef for arrange indian curry it's very Nice… And breakfast is also very fantastic.

Management and Staff were super kind… absolutely enjoyed our stay there… thank you for the amazing service. And the bomb pizza menu… 😋💜💜💜👏👏 Def recommend and will visit again when we visit the big island again. 💜

We stayed at Villa 2 during our office trip in Savaii June 2021. Moved in the villa and opened curtains and windows for some fresh air. To our horror, there were lizard droppings/faeces on the windows as if they weren’t cleaned for weeks! Quickly closed windows and curtains and turned on air conditioning. Shockingly the air con vent blades is dusty and vents full of dusts clogging up the airflow.
We ordered our dinner, we had to wait for an abnormally long time for our food, to be more accurate, from 1 to 1.5 hours waiting. Our orders were mixed up and none of the food and beverage staff offered any explanation or an apology for the mixed up. For a resort highly rated online, the truth is my experience at best is below industry standards.
However we did enjoyed their pot of milo drink but no one reveal the ingredients of the drink despite many enquiries with three staff members. Subsequent phone calls after few days to reveal the ingredients of this drink was met with replies such as 1) tea lady has left for the RSE program, 2) it is a secret 3) we will call you back (never). All these replies reflect the lack of trainings, professionalism and integrity of the Food and Beverage Staff at this resort. Our trip here ended up with a bill of almost $4, 000.00.
My advice to future customers is this — SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! Overall value 1/10.

Birthday — Getaway… From the Friendly Staff to the Facilities provided, I would definitely recommend to local and those abroad if you are looking for a place to Relax and have fun with love ones. Thankyou Again.

Wow what can I say apart from the amazing location and facilities it’s the Manager Elizabeth and her staff that make the place so great. Will definitely be going back!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warm smiles and friendly, attentive staff! From the bellhop, to the front desk, waiters, basically the entire staff I don’t know if I’ve come across a more friendly, and welcoming staff as Amoa! Customer service was top notch! The grounds were immaculate and inviting, felt like I was in a jungle paradise. The rooms were nice and spacious, and the outdoor shower was such a lovely feature. Since we were with our children all week, my husband arranged for a private dinner on the dock and I can’t even begin to describe the jaw-dropping beauty my eyes beheld! We were on the water at the end of a private dock, with nothing but the beautiful ocean surrounding us. We also were delighted to have entertainment with singers and a lovely samoan dance performance. The dinner was exquisite, we ordered their fresh catch of the day and a nice lobster and steak! It was delicious and I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect romantic night with my husband! Thank you Amoa for all your help in making our stay at Amoa a time we will never forget! We will be back!

I fell in love with the refreshing welcome drink of lemonade. Smashed it in not even 10 seconds Actually love the welcoming surroundings & atmosphere lovely service starting from receptionist to room service. Food was delicious every bite of it I would go back in a heartbeat.

Impressed with the total package. Beautiful setting, awesome restaurant/bar, live entertainment, friendly/professional staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Everything is absolutely beautiful especially the friendly staff… I had my husbands 40th birthday at the resort and the buffet dinner was on point and very delicious, my family and I planned to stay for 1 night and ended up staying 3 days we were just so inlove with the place! The rooms were huge heaps of space inside! Thank you Amoa for your great hospitality we will definitely stay there again on our next visit to samoa!

Superior Resort. Cool airconditioned villas, pool with bar, restaurant food and service fabulous. Kids enjoyed jumping off the wharf into the blue sea. The wharf is across the road from the resort.

Absolutely amazing place to relax and unwind. Staff were welcoming and friendly, villa was perfect and the pool with swim up bar just the best. Food and drinks I could not fault especially the white rum mojito. We had a blast and we will be back maybe without the kids faafetai lava to you all beautiful people.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The staff are friendly and happy to have a chat, Elizabeth and her lovely staff really make Amoa special. The food is simply devine — tasty and fresh — you won't eat better on the island. The rooms are spacious and clean. Savaii is a real gem to explore also. Can't recommend highly enough.

We stayed at Amoa Resort for 2 nights but loved it so much we extended a night there. We were welcomed politely with a local juice and warm smiles. Awesome facilities, pool was great, aircon in the room was great, room was clean and in good condition, bathroom was really good with the separate outdoor shower. Beds were spacious and comfy. The food was just as good too esp with the kokoalaisa in the complimentary breakfast. The staff there really friendly and polite and helped with whatever we needed. Thanks to all the staff esp Peta who took our booking and made it easy for us to check in, Iosua, Tana, Faatau, and Petuia (who taught Valansea and Jireh how to make your local juice). Those were the only names we could remember but everyone was amazing. We would deifintely come back and rate one of the best one of the best in Savaii 10 out of 10. Faafetai tele lava for making our stay at Amoa Resort amazing from La'inei, Vaoesea, Dominic, Valansea and Jireh John who stayed in Room 5 and Room 6.

Beautiful resort food was great but very slow to deliver — wait staff left dirty plates until asked to clear them flies every where They need to mosquito net their eating area as it is very unpleasant eating with so many flies buzzing around.

Nice place as a base to explore from or to stay by the pool or beach and do nothing at all. Lovely staff and good choice of food.

Boutique place with excellent service — can't do enough for you. Pool area is aesthetic ally pleasing. Meals while of reasonable cost are well cooked & presented. We'll run establishment.

Great atmosphere with the rooms being little cottages. Pool was nice and the bar was great. The food was okay. The rooms AC wasn't great so in the heat of the day there was no reprieve. My family was in another room and had much better AC.

Samoa is beautiful with magnificent landscape and wonderful people — a sacred treasure lost in time — Amoa resort captures this essence! It begins with a welcome pick up at Salelologa wharf, the driver Peter wears a warm smile as he escorts us to his van and starts our way towards the resort. Along the way he strikes up a lovely conversation and points out landmarks along the way. Recommend booking the wharf transfer they offer. As soon as we enter the clean tidy reception we …are greeted with a sensational smile and welcome to Amoa by the awesome manager Elisabeth who gets us sorted at front desk with the help of Olivia and she has ice cold lemonade brought to us while we fill out paperwork. After this Joshua helps us to our room along with Elisabeth while she explains an event they are hosting for the local community encouraging climate change awareness at the jetty which we are welcome as hotel guests to the VIP area. This is the beginning of what was to be exceedingly excellent customer service everywhere in Amoa resort from everyone. Our room was absolutely stunning with traditional carvings on the post and handpicked fresh flowers on our bed and tables. The aircon was on full blast too! (we really needed that! ) Tana was immaculate in presentation and ensured our dining experiences were unmatched. We recommend the jetty dinner complete with cocktails on arrival, beautiful leis and exclusive siva from the lovely Virginia.

Came here for dinner one night, probably the best dinner we had in Upolu. Very basic meal of fish and chips but it was very good.

A beautiful place, friendly and helpful staff. Amoa is a very peaceful place to stay, the swimming pool is well set out and the water feature adds to the ambiance. I loved swimming in the sea opposite the resort, great spot. The best feature of Amoa is the menu, and the great cooking from the chef. The menu incorporates local foods, is very cleverly incorporated into every meal. Truly delicious and great that Amoa supports the local farmers and fishermen. A lovely place to stay.

We need to rate this place a 10 out of 5! We had an awesome time, embraced and made part of the local families. Units are great, they were worried that they lost power for a few minutes until the genset kicked in but we noticed nothing, we were having too great a time. No decent sandy beach but that does not detract from the place at all. The entire staff including the owners were gracious and just beautiful people, 4 nights were just not enough. I wish more so called 5 star hotels created the same culture within.

I am not normally one to post reviews but I had such a great time here I felt compelled to!
I once stayed a few years ago when it was the Siufaga Resort and it was lovey then, but it's even better now. The staff led by Elisabeth are so attentive without being annoying. The food in the restaurant is delicious and I love they use locally sourced ingredients! The small size of the resort makes it not too busy, but it still has everything needed including a great pool and swim up bar. The views are to die for, if going to Samoa you must visit Savaii and you must stay here :-)

Had a great stay here! The room was spacious and had great AC. Very clean amenities throughout. The private outdoor shower was a really cool feature too.

We stayed there at the beginning of October and going back this weekend for another few days. The staff is so friendly, the villas are roomy and clean and great for a weekend getaway. Plus the beach is right across the street and we enjoyed lounging around by the pool as well.

I was able to visit and experience this wonderful Resort during my trip to Savaii. The accommodation was lovely, the food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff was exceptional. This was a highlight on my visit and definitely a must do when you visit this tropical paradise. I am hoping to return one day soon.
