Their services are outstanding, they have a nice swimming pool! And it's so quiet! And in the luxury neighbourhood ✨️

The worst food I have ever eaten at a hotel. The rooms are okay and the staff is great. However the dinner was just boiled chicken, rice and a few vegs. Very disappointing.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kigali, it is a central and secure location. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always available to help. The rooms were very spacious, and hygiene was well maintained. It also has a great dining experience, with variety of local and intercontinental dishes. Lastly, the swimming pools makes for great view from the rooms and was the perfect place to relax for me. I would definitely be staying here again for my next visit!

I spent 10 days in this hotel the servise was remarkable and the staff was very welcoming and made me feel at home they would help me get transport from the hotel the food was so delicious.
I would 100% recomend this hotel plus the hotel is supper clean.

Dirty rooms. Dead cockroaches in the bathroom. No hot shower water at night. Broken bedside lamp plugs. TV with 2-3 channels with terrible signal. Room safe not working. A joke of a gym with poor lighting and most machines not working. Poor breakfast, with non fresh bread etc. Unresponsive, poorly trained and unprofessional staff and management.
And here is the worst experience: Tried to pay two times with my card for the stay upon arrival but both times the card got declined. Then my colleague paid them for my room in cash. However, they took the money for one card payment after I checked out. Initially they denied they took the money, we contacted Bank of Rwanda and they confirmed they took the money. However, they still did not refund the double payment stating some ridiculous policy.
Avoid this hotel at all costs!

This hotel is rather disgusting.
Very dirty.
Lots of bugs both alive and dead.
Our room appears to not have been cleaned in a very long time.
We were put up here by Rwanda Air as our flight was delayed (again).
We do not want to stay in our room, so currently we are sitting by the pool.
Definitely won’t be eating here and are counting down the hours until we can head to the airport.

Kitchen service and quality of food needs to be improved.

I made a reservation at this hotel for 4 nights through one of the third-party reservation websites for myself and a friend traveling together in Rwanda.
Upon arrival at the hotel at approximately 9 pm, we had our luggage and belongings x-rayed before being able to walk up to the check-in counter. I had a full bottle of banana beer I had purchased earlier which the security guard initially refused to let me bring in, until another staff member stepped in and convinced him to allow in.
We walked up to the check-in counter and mentioned we had a reservation. The woman at the desk said they had cancelled their contract with the third-party website and were not honoring reservations made through that site. The reason she gave was because the rates published on the site ($83 per night) were too low for them to make a profit. She then proceeded to mention that she had rooms available and could book us for $130 a night. To add insult to injury, she told us that we would have to contact the third-party website ourselves to get a refund for the reservation we had already paid through them.
We begrudgingly paid for one night at Scheba since it was already getting close to 10 pm and we didn’t know if we could find other accommodations on such short notice. We then spent the next two hours on a call with the third-party website trying to get a refund on the original reservation.
Our room was old and outdated.

We did not have a good experience at all. We ordered room service and the waiter knocked once on the door but before we could open for him, he opened the door and walked in, then that same night at around 11pm someone just unlocked our door and walked in but realised someone was in the room and left immediately, well after that we kept the chair up against the door.

What made thus hotel a memorable one was the service of the hotel employees. Each single one of them from front desk to cleaners were very accommodating and ready to offer their best service to close to a 100 guest at the same time. Clean rooms, great location, stellar service. Will definitely stay again.

I stayed a week at Scheba hotel on the recommendation of a friend and I have not been disappointed. The hotel is in a good location and a quiet area. Jump on a motor taxi and go to nice restaurants in few minutes, or to the Capliki market :) I had a room with view on the pool and the city and a terrace, very pleasant. The rooms are very clean and spacious and bathrooms in marble and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is only 2 years old. Daniella and her team are very friendly, accommodating and professional. They all speak french or english. Internet did not work well for 2 days being very slow in my room and for them at the reception, they gave me an individual router and that solved the issue. On my first night the music from the restaurant was loud and it was late so I called the reception, they immediately turned off the music and I never heard noise anymore, despite being on the reception level. The restaurant has good and freshly cooked food and the staff there is also very nice. Overall a good experience, high standing for affordable prices. I will go back there for sure for my next visit to Kigali.
