Inside Afrika Boutique Hotel

I recently visited this hotel, and it was absolutely gorgeous! The food was excellent, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. What stood out most to me was the peaceful ambiance—it's a quiet oasis right in the heart of Kigali. It's the perfect spot for a low-cost date or a relaxing outing. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food and a serene atmosphere!

Everything was perfect, the staff, the room, the location. There were some problems, but they were solved after a few days. Unfortunately, the breakfast was the same every day, and the pool could not be used.

The hotel is located in a quiet environment and you can reach most of the spots in Kigali's center by foot. The premises are nice with plants and small birds and you can enjoy relaxing on your terrace. Wi-Fi was quite good.
The personnel was not friendly at all and the rooms were somewhat worn down, even considering that this is Africa. The mosquito net had huge holes. While breakfast was okay, we wouldn't recommend having lunch or dinner there. We tried it once and it was not only overpriced but also of bad quality and taste, not to mention the waiting time. Sadly the pool was very dirty and therefore not usable.

The hotel is nice, with private parking. Swimming pool area is very chill, with some palm trees and a nice bar.
Rooms were comfy and clean, breakfast was decent. Veranda was also very nice.
They included free laundry which was superb.
The mosquito net (room 101) was hard to put on and had some holes (so we did get some mosquito bites) and hot water didn't work sometimes.
The bartender wasn't very friendly and made us wait (to even order, after talking to him already) for so long that we had lunch elsewhere in the end.

Room is ok, hot water failed initially but the staff helped us to fix it.
We had spaghetti for dinner which was terrible, pizza was fair but it took 1.5hours to serve.
They serve fruits, eggs and drinks for breakfast.

Wow… It's a Hidden Gem Every One must Visit with Lovely location, spacious Rooms, perfect Pool and Happy Hospitality.
Really Loved our Stay…

We were two couples from Germany, each with our own room, and both rooms had the same issues. We recently stayed at Inside Afrika Hotel for three days and were thoroughly disappointed with our experience. The food was just okay, but it definitely did not live up to the appealing photos we saw online. One of the biggest letdowns was the pool, which was not functioning and completely empty.
The staff's inability to speak English was a significant inconvenience. Communication was very challenging, and it felt like our concerns were not understood or addressed properly. The rooms were poorly equipped, lacking the basic amenities one would expect for the price we paid. The bathroom, in particular, was subpar. The sink was filthy, and the shower was moldy—definitely not what you would expect from a hotel of this supposed standard.
Additionally, we were not provided with the Wi-Fi password during our entire stay, which added to our frustration. Overall, our experience was far from satisfactory, and we would not recommend Inside Afrika Hotel to other travelers.

Idyllic accommodation and surrounding. We woke up listening to beautiful singing of birds. The staff members were all very kind, friendly and polite. We could tell they really wanted to make us feel comfortable and at home. They cared about our needs and greeted as in the morning.
Breakfast has good vegan options — such as vegetables, fruits, plantain, potatoes and toasts — we can say we have a full experience of breakfast as vegans. The breakfast area is gorgeous with a swimming pool and hill views.
Hot shower water is stable and strong. There are soaps, clean towels, hangers, and hair dryer.
The only drawback was that the room floor could be cleaner, but they also offer indoor slippers. You wouldn’t want to walk around indoor barefoot or with only your socks on.

I stayed at this hotel when the country was hosting the first ever Women Deliver conference with a lot of people coming into the country. This hotel offered me the experience I was looking for. The hotel was very quite, homely with African ambiance. The staff were very friendly and receptive incase of any issue and the food was just fabulous. The hotel is within reasonable proximity to the city city center. I strongly recommend this hotel.
