Volcano view.
We stayed at Volcano view while traveling through Rwanda with a group of 4 adults and 6 children (2 families). Jorjo’s house was our base for trips to twin lakes, golden monkey hike and bisoke hike. Jorjo and her team made us feel very welcome and at home. It was very handy Jorjo has a lot of connections and suggestions. It was very rainy when we where there. The service to clean our shoes after hikes was amazing. We stayed in for a lovely home cooked dinner for one night ($15 pp). The kids loved being able to play some basketball, play with Carice and the dog.

My second stay. Again a very good experience. They run a good B&B. Good rooms. Good staff. Good starting point if you want do hike or even gorilla’s. Staff will sort you out on tickets, transport, basically anything. Very reliable. Good people.

We didn't stay at the b&b but Isaac was our driver and guide for a 3 day safari in Akagera. Isaac is a fantastic guide! Knowledgeable, discrete and funny! He is going the extra mile to give you the best possible time! I very confidently recommend Isaac as a tour guide. Thank you Isaac! 🙏

We originally booked a few nights at this location and then contacted the owner to ask a few questions. It wasn't long before we struck up a relationship and he helped us plan our entire Rwanda trip. Isaac picked us up from the airport in Kigali, dropped us off at a nice BnB in Kigali, and after a good nights rest and a wonderful breakfast, our Rwanda adventure started. He drove us to Akagera for a few days safari including a nighttime safari which was absolutely amazing. Then we spent a couple nights at the Volcano View BnB and he took us to see the Gorilla's on the Volcano and the Golden Monkey's. He knew it was my husbands birthday and he surprised us with a birthday cake and everyone (including other guests) celebrating with us. He took us to a few other interesting locations and we enjoyed a relaxing boat ride and a final meal before returning to our original lodge in Kigali. Finally, he drove us back to the airport to send us off on our next part of our adventure. The Volcano View BnB is nice, comfortable, clean, and the meals they server are great. They have a nice porch where you can eat outside if you like, or you can eat inside. They also have a TV, but who has time for that on a safari vacation :). When we return to Rwanda, we will let Isaac plan the next trip and we will stay with him at this location again. Every moment of this trip was amazing and memorable. As a guide, Isaac has so much knowledge and is featured in Rwanda with Eastern Congo, 7th edition.

We had an amazing and unforgettable stay at Volcano View! Isaac and the rest of the staff are super nice, helpful and competent. They really made us feel at home. The house is very pretty with a nice and relaxing outdoor area. Breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh fruit, juice and great tea. Isaac took us on an unforgettable daytrip to the twin lakes and waterfalls. He was an amazing guide and everything went so smoothly without us doing any planning! All in all, this is the right address if you stay in Musanze. Fantastic work guys!

Highly recommend Volcano View!
We spent a weekend in Musanze trip with a group of friends, and arranged a tour with Isaac on other's recommendation. He really is a great host and guide. Isaac picked us up from the bus station, organised food to be delivered and made a fire on a cold evening. He arranged our trip to Volcanoes National Park perfectly, drove us there, waited there for us, and bought us home, arranging for our muddy clothes and shoes to be washed. The following day we had a tour of Musanze, with a beautiful walk through the village, a swim in a waterfall, a boat tour, fish braai (BBQ) for lunch. Each part of the day was great, and Isaac shared lots of information. Isaac went above and beyond in making our stay memorable and comfortable.
We returned the following weekend to stay at Volcano View with my mum. We did not do a tour, but used Isaacs house as a base to return to Volcanoes park and explore Musanze. There is lots to see in the little town (recommend the art galleries and coffee shops! ).
Isaac's home is clean, tastefully decorated, and his garden has lots of flowers and birds. His staff are helpful, kind and professional. Breakfasts are delicious with lovely fresh fruit! His accommodation is good value for money.

Isaac couldn't have been a better guide; I made arrangements with Isaac Pre-Covid for a 8 day, 9 nights tour which I had to constantly reschedule due to the cancellation of flights from the US to Rwanda. However, I was finally able to make it the country after months and months and months of rescheduling. Isaac was incredible with his patience After reading reviews, I made a gentlemen's agreement with Isaac for a week long + all-inclusive tour and he was fantastic. I explored the entire country and Isaac was the consummate professional; his knowledge and history of the country is great, he's very friendly and amicable, and he was a great guide with a lot of flexibility to do what I wanted as plans changed. I’m a huge champion of supporting local business especially in the tourism market and I can highly, highly, highly recommend Isaac. I had a blast exploring the entire country and will have memories for a lifetime.
