Bicaca has a very beautiful view of Lake Mugesera, and with the swimming pool it’s really stunning. But the road leading there is not very good.

The Bugesera Lake Resort was a gem for us. Not far from Kigali, and giving enough activities to fit in a day without being on a marathon and having the time to rest and soak in the wind of the small lake. The place is well maintained, with interesting ideas, the staff are very friendly and kind. Will definitely recommend either for a solo retreat or a family short get away.

The food, particularly breakfast was really nice, the boat ride was soothing and the painting session was therapeutic.
Customer service was top notch.
Areas of improvement include accessibility to the location, clear communication about prices for services and more activities can be lined up for visitors.
I would recommend this place as the perfect get away for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy lakeside views.
