Butar Hotels

Nice quiet hotel. Very few residents. Comfortable rooms and beddings. Steady internet. Fresh food made on request. Breakfast served outside at the gazebo where one enjoys the natural setting.

This charming hotel is on the outskirts of Huye (formerly Butare) Rwanda, a university town in southern Rwanda. In a beautiful garden setting, the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Light house hotel stay was incredibly comfortable, with a spacious, well-maintained room that had modern amenities, a cozy bed, and a clean, relaxing atmosphere.

We stopped to have lunch on our way to nyungwe.

Pierre is the best! The rooms are nice and the food is amazing. The tour through the museum is wonderful and interesting. Would definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Pierre's place! The food was great, and such a unique place to stay. Pierre welcomed us so warmly, his knowledge and passion for African Art is truly inspiring.
