U Hostel Hostel

Absolutely wonderful place with amazing staff. Everything is super clean, spacious, modern and functional. Very nice garden area to do Kung Fu! With an outside pagoda to socialize in, amongst many other fun features. Price is the lowest I have had in Russia so far (it was 400 Rubles). Definitely recommend!

Great people, Olga the owner of the place is very nice and inviting. Has secure parking for cars and motorcycle. I paid 400 ruble for dorm style. Helped me find motorcycle green card insurance office in Astrakhan and money exchange for tenge to rubles as I couldn't find any exchange accepting tenge.

Just for the location! Beautiful building outside which is banal and not interesting inside. I caught a gloomy woman at the entrance which as Bud was not happy to me, after which in the middle of the night there was a crowd of children who did not allow to sleep and were Raspledelena and in the men's and women's Room ave that my wife and I did not give a lech in one. And the kids are all girls! It was very hard, so had to check in the living room the next day more expensive but worth it!

Excellent hostel-pure, stylish. If you want to wait, then call, warn in advance, the owner might not be in place. Odnuški Windows overlook the street, so there is quiet only at night (in the room of Africa without the open Windows will be difficult).

Recently arrived in Astrakhan and stayed at U hostel in Sverdlov 58, let me tell you, very happy that I decided to stay here. Clean, comfortable, modern design and convenient location look — in the heart of the city, in my opinion the best hostel in Astrakhan, so would recommend!

Recently stayed in a Hostel in the city of Astrakhan U.
Prior to this, read reviews, were mildly dismayed two negative, but in comparison with other hostels in the city, decided to stay there-whether that be.
Be honest choice in Astrakhan.
So, upon arrival we were greeted by a nice young man, the owner of the hostel. Conducted a tour of the hostel, explained everything/revealed. Allowed to choose the room. (As I understand it at this time of year, the flow of tourists is quite small, so was this possibility).
No rudeness or aggression could not go. All our questions patiently answered all your wishes immediately performed. I say more to us not only advised the pleasant places in the district, but also arranged a tour.
Hostel is clean, no odors could not go, unless decorative scented candles. But is it bad?
The Interior is typically European, but with a few moving parts that create comfort.
So to say, felt "caring hands" master, who apparently engaged in hostel not only for finance but also puts there its heartfelt warmth.
We took the double room glažennoe underwear, tasty smelling towels, new comfortable furniture, good lighting. Also in the room is the ability to store valuables on a turnkey basis. Having been in many hostels, frankly it is a great advantage.

At the reception, lovely friendly girl, but the administration leaves much to be desired, and I booked a double room but there were circumstances that we were rerouted to another city, we were asked to return the money at least for one day since we are on the road wasn't enough, the owner said Yes, and even the card number, took to transfer the money There next day, it took 5days anything not listed, why lie, cheat people and the hostel is very small place catastrophically lacking the tiny room, at the entrance and then reek of the sewer, and while I'm already out of the house in touch with the owner he insults and says that such asterick at him every day a dime a dozen, although what's hysterical is that I request my money which he promised to return.

A couple of weeks ago had a rest in this hostel, it was the worst thing that could happen to us, over time I realized that it would be better under a bridge with homeless people stopped! the staff is not friendly, all the dirt (luckily we only 1 night, then ran away), the room took 2-bed, in the room the stench of sewage was, and it wasn't the worst, predprinyal to put leftovers in the fridge I was afraid of what the rat which died there from dirt toli toli from hunger, will come to life and eat my leftover dinner, having spent the night there the night we came and asked us to calculate for the remaining time on a number of the above reasons what us in a polite manner sent and said literally"you do"… actually the trip marred, hurt to the core.
