Love going to Café Singer in the upstairs area. The food and drinks are priced well, and the building itself is gorgeous. It is right across the street from Kazan Cathedral, and you can see the building out of the large windows in the café. What a view! The bookstore is so fun to explore, however the book prices are not ideal. They are a bit high. It is usually crowded in the summertime. There is a great selection of unique souvenirs!

Most popular book store in St Pete. It's located in an interesting Art Nouveau building. There is a restaurant with a nice view to Nevskiy Prospekt but prices are consequently higher than elsewhere.

I liked it very much! Hostel almost in the centre, a twenty minute walk to the Hermitage. Everything is very convenient: the room is cozy, beds are soft, beautiful view from the veranda, shared kitchen, cooler, hot/warm/cold water, lots of Board games. The administration is responsive, ready to help. Really bad noise, was heard a knock at the door… with my family Going to travel again in "Friends"! Would recommend to my friends who are going to Saint Petersburg… All excellent.
