Wonderful place to stay with a great view of St. Isaac’s Cathedral.

Friendly and helpful staff especially the mais who did a superb job and were very efficient and discreet. Great situation good breakfast and historic building. I really couldn't fault the service 5/5!

I would like to warn visitors for theft in this hotel. My dress was stolen by someone of the staff in this hotel. Afterwards I received a very arrogant demeanor about this: totally unprofessional. In a 5* hotel I am not expecting to get robbed by the maids and to get this reaction from the management. It is not my style to put comments like this, but this was just such a disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

A lovely hotel overlooking the Cathedral, squished rooms with wide windowsills, a delicious cafe on the ground floor, amiable staff and unfortunately average breakfasts.

Excellent hotel, quiet, comfortable, excellent service, bedroom view on St Isaac cathedral is really great and central location very convenient. Very good breakfast with good coffee! Just a minor remark, scrambled eggs and bacon were not warm enough. What to say about the excellent strawberry cake left in the room by the hotel for my wife's birthday: very much appreciated gesture! I recommend without any restrictions.

Rooms can be considered to be somewhat dated but it adds to the classical feel that this hotel has and is evidently shooting for. It’s an excellent setting considering the great location (right in front of Saint Isaac’s cathedral). I have no complaints about my stay here and I would recommend it to anyone who can afford it.

Great locations, but rooms are slightly dated, would opt for Astoria next door if prices are similar.

The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. There is a spa, again small and the pool (water cold). Restaurant of Italian cuisine, yes tasty. Of course, the view of St. Isaac's Cathedral. But the renovation of this hotel would not disturb. We need to change.

Excellent location. The main attractions are within walking distance. Most of the rooms have a view of St. Isaac's Cathedral. The rooms are small but cozy and have everything you need. Excellent non-Zoan service. The staff is polite and respectful. The price is quite consistent with quality. But do not look for the number in which the life of Yesenin ended-after reconstruction it no longer exists. Very good breakfast. The concierge will provide tickets for almost any event.

Fancy hotel, but quite small rooms for that money. Hotel is located next to Isac cathedral with direct view. It is close to historical center and Winter Palace. Its great for congres, but I wouldnt recomend it for holiday stay.

They're showing good movies. But, it is inconvenient that the entrance to the cinema through the restaurant Borsalino. The audience has to embarrass the guests, because the gap between the sessions is small, and the hall in front of the cinema is very small. First the crowd comes out from the last session, and then people push for a new one.

Hotel is clean and breakfast service is good. However some money from our bags were stolen inside the room. Probably room cleaner was responsible of this.

Was going to a wedding at the hotel! It was above all praise. The room is bright and cozy. The staff is kind and always goes to a meeting! They have no room for the newlyweds, but we are not scared:) pulled us there, and we chose this hotel! thank you to the staff that helped us avoid minor problems.

The view over looking St Isaac's is wonderful, the colours at sunset are magnificent. Our room was stylish and well turned out. The staff helpful, accommodating and cheerful. There is an English language cinema within the hotel that shows new releases, with Russian subtitles. The location is pretty much ideal for all you need to do in the centre.

Really friendly, outgoing staff made my stay a real pleasure. My room was of an excellent standard and the buffet breakfast offered an excellent variety of foods! It's very well situated right in the centre of the old town, within relatively easy walking distance of many attractions.
