Expensive, but great. A beautiful manicured courtyard, great breakfasts and stylized rooms. The staff are always friendly!

So lovely to stay in a old House with modern bathrooms. Alongside a Canal it’s very close to lots.
The staff are so friendly and attentive, everything is so clean, breakfast has everything & the dinner we had was delicious.
We walked along the Canal every day to the sights & did Hop on Bus & Boat. Highly recommend!

I stayed at this hotel on July 2018. Nice boutique hotel, with intimate atmosphere and excellent service. Alexander house offers several, fairly large, uniquely decorated rooms and a nice inner yard, which is an excellent spot to enjoy the delicious breakfast buffet. However, if you are staying in the first floor, the breakfast tables can be located next to your window, so ask for the room in 2nd floor. Location is close to many of the attractions, but quite far away from the nearest metro station. This reasonably priced hotel is great for couples or small groups and more than worth of the money you pay.

The Guest house has a restaurant "La Familia". For several years the restaurant worked on semi beginnings, serving only the guests and "members of the club". Now works openly. Recommend. In the winter evening you can sit comfortably in the hall with a fireplace, and in summer on the terrace in the courtyard. Visitors are usually not much, because $ $ $, but the quality, taste, comfort and service it justifies. Very suitable place for romantique.

Very large rooms and feels like a house.

Look no further — a perfectly lovely hotel in an excellent location. Small enough for the staff to give guests individual attention, whilst still providing everything you could possibly need. Staff — friendly, helpful and really make guests feel looked after and at home. Rooms — unique but tasteful decor, comfortable with big bathrooms. Many have lovely views. Location — excellent — peaceful and quiet but a short walk from tourist sites and public transport. Very convenient for the airport. Food — breakfast is excellent, with Russian cakes and pies, cold meat, vegetables, cereals, fruit, bread, omelettes, pancakes, fried eggs, bacon etc. As well as home-made fruit juices. The restaurant appears to be 24 hours, with good, reasonably priced food served at all hours.

Truly a great hotel. I love the rooms, each having a different theme and very spacious for European standards. The way the hotel is set up, it makes you feel like you are in someone's home. Very clean and great service. Good breakfast as well. The hotel is in a pretty centrally located. When I return to St. Pete's I will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Best restaurant and service at st. Petersburg.

Truly excellent boutique hotel that manages to offer both high levels of service (en-suite with underfloor heating, 24 hour room service, charming staff) and a cosy, homely vibe (library with English language newspapers). Our room, Bali, was clean and pretty, with a large en-suite, big TV, minibar, free Wi-Fi and very comfortable bed. I really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel — even splashing out on laundering and the minibar it seemed like a real bargain.
