I don't understand those who criticize this hotel. A great hotel — ask and everything will be done for you. Suggest that the Chinese will interfere — make sure you do not interfere — settle away from them. A hotel located in the heart of Russian history. Dinner was served as soon as I arrived, offering a hot meal that was fulfilling. After arriving in my room, I find two small beds, with enough space to accomodate my day stay. Breakfast was decent but so busy it was difficult to find a table, despite an abundance of them. However, there are a few things I would've appreciated. It would have been nice to have better night curtains as the sun sets at midnight and rises at 3am. Furthermore, accessible outlets near the beds would've been nice, as the closest one was near the desk. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience that with a few tweaks, can earn five stars.
