Fantastic historical Hotel in Moscow — spotless service, beautiful views! ❤️

WOW! What a great hotel. We’re staying in one of the Studio Rooms with the Kremlin View. A view to be envy of. Very friendly staff at reception and the concierge. We felt welcome with delight and Russian hospitality.

When arranging a wedding in the banquet halls of the hotel I strongly recommend not to agree to the proposed wedding cake 'from the pastry chef'.

because the cake we received was terribly overfrozen, utterly tasteless, did not correspond to what we discussed in detail with the manager and pastry chef, and looked like the first job of a novice layman in the field of confectionery.

in general, with a high probability, except for negative emotions and disappointment when ordering a wedding cake you will not get.

Loved the hotel in all aspects. We stayed for three nights and got to experience many of their facilities and services, all were excellent. The Dr Zhivago restaurant had great food and a fantastic view of the Kremlin added in. The front desk, concierge and other staff were helpful in every way. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

My wife and I like this place very much. Very convenient to places of interest. The concierge name Marina was extremely helpful and polite. Thank you. The hotel lives up to its name… luxury.

Brilliantly. The author of the restaurant is a talented person and a good psychologist. Especially well recruited waitresses: young, smiling, in a good way simple.

Located in the very center of Moscow, this beautifully looking hotel has the charm of old days and amenities of modern time. We spent there just a day, but had time to enjoy nice wellness center including gym, sauna and small swimming pool. Breakfast is served in a room overlooking the entrance to the Red Square and service is close to perfect.

Far away from 5 stars! Rooms very special. You can smell the dust over the years. Massage bathtube but not really in best condition. Bar like a railway station location and for the type of hotel exagerated prices. The breakfast has a nice buffet, but the stuff is completely disorganised. For your tee you have to ask 2 or 3 times. Fried eggs served after 45 minutes cold and burned, the second day after second order, the didn't come. Really disappointed! The best is just the central location of the hotel just in front of the Kremlin!

Small room. Repair is so-so. The sockets are reeling. Bathroom with chipped, stained paint. And there's not even a toothbrush!

Paying for the room 16k rubles and live in a semi-Soviet room overlooking the back dirty yard? Guys this price is just for the area. And the number matching this price is absolutely not. Service at altitude. Interior in hotel on C grade.

Very nice hotel. Right in front of the Red Square. The Persobal could speak English very well and was previously coming. Also had saunas and a pool and Jacuzzi in the building. The breakfast was vielfähltig and in the restaurant you could enjoy the view of the Basilica cathedral with a nice wine. Various stars and politicians had already stayed there.
Hip on hip of bus station was right on the other side of the street. The price was correspondingly high.

This is a fabulous hotel. Best location in Moscow. Super service. Concierge service excellent specially if you get stuck finding your way back. Look out on Kremlin while having delicious meal. Walking distance to many important attractions. Will return to this grand hotel anytime.

Hotel National is located in a centre of Moscow, probably it is the only plus of the hotel. The service is okay, but the cleaners didn't put enough towels and toiletries, which is very disappointing for 5 star hotel. Moreover, they don't include some essential equipment e. G. Spoons. Kettle, which are usually included in all hotel. Even in 3 star hotel! tea-drinkers would not like it for sure as you need to constantly ask for things they should provide without ask (not to mention that they charge for it and we paid for 8 nights! ). Gym is small and equipments are very old (got a feeling like something was gonna drop on me). Also, the hotel blocked the fee two times in our bank account considering the fact that we stayed there for 8 nights and fee was quite expensive. We needed to waste a day of our holiday to go to the bank to sort this thing out, when we ask the hotel to assist us, all they say was ''sorry, there's nothing I can do''. Eventually we needed to dig out some of the documents from them and they are not willing to act on their customer's behalf. Wasted nerves and energy… the warning for future guests: make sure that hotel doesn't double charge you. They were not bothered to offer discount or breakfast as a compensation while usually any hotel does to smooth the situation. Next trip to Moscow we will try Ritz, which is right next to National. Very disappointing for 5 star hotel. Gonna complain to SPG group!

Excellent hotel with amazing room service and great location.

The real plus of this hotel is the central location, in the heart of the city opposite the Red Square. The prices are aligned to the competition of the area, maybe something less. But the reason lies in its quite obvious minus: the structure is rather dated and inside the rooms have mostly a ancient appearance and an equally heavy air. It may please the lovers of the past but it can also be excessive to those who prefer sobriety. The services are there (swimming pool, sports hall, restaurants) but they always follow the philosophy of the past, a Soviet key in short, revisited to well in the best in modern style.

Our stay at the Hotel National was great. It's extremely well locate, you get your breakfast looking to Kremlin! The room that we stayed was big, very clean, great bathroom. The staff was extremely helpful, they speak very good English. When we arrived at our room, probably because was a special date for me and my wife, there was a outstanding chocolate cake, we enjoyed very much. The breakfast was superb, many options, including fruits, a good Russian sparkling wine and many Russian foods. Great hotel.

Amazing historical place with great location and terrific service. Prices are certainly not cheap, but this service is understandable. The rooms are nothing special, seen and on order better, at a lower cost (apparently a big part is the history of the hotel and its location).
The price includes a spa area with a huge swimming pool.
But the breakfast in the price as it did not hit.

Perfect location! Make sure you get a room with a view, even if you pay more for it. The Grand cafe Dr Jhivago, open 24h is a gorgeous place with very good traditional Russian food.

Loved this hotel! So comfortable and beautiful. My room was a double and was quite spacious, the bed comfy. Everything was clean and the staff extremely friendly and professional. Got my winter boots shined every night (complimentary service). The location is as good as it gets. The breakfast is included in the price of room and is outstanding — and the view of the Kremlin is magical. The gym, pool and sauna are very nice. Service is great. Beluga restaurant is exquisite. Loved everything about this place. And the prices here are very reasonable (considering the prime location and prices of hotels nearby). My only complaint: they don't recycle at all. With complimentary bottled water for guests there is a lot of waste — so many plastic bottles being thrown away each day. This hotel could do the right thing and be a leader in recycling!

Absolutely stunning place. The level of service is superb. If you are fluid on hotel pricing, for the center of Moscow this hotel is very decently priced if you do a booking from prepayment pages.

A hotel of this level simply can not be bad! It's like a fairytale. And the husband confirms that. The night was beautiful and the breakfast in bed is incredible. I found out later that my husband had arranged for a romantic dinner and breakfast. He's a romantic.

The House of my choice in Moscow. Original Soviet style, but at its finest. Great rooms and suites, first class service and from the breakfast room and parts of the restaurant, there is a breathtaking view of the Kremlin. The situation in Moscow could not be more central. I have always felt very comfortable here — a clear case of * * * * * 5 stars.

Very nice but the prostitutes, although discreet and elegant, waiting winking from the lobby tables are not a 5 star luxury scene…

Fantastic location and architecture. Super good and swift service but the standards of the rooms could be better.

I don't even know where to start. I think I'm going to the main hotel. Our room was on a 6th floor with a view of the Kremlin, with a bed that was not king-size, and the usual two united mattresses, which were constantly comeed and prevented from sleeping in the middle, were empty space. In addition to all the mattresses, worn species. The string from the carpet getting along the Carapannogo parquet. And last time, a tropical shower fell on all four sides, part of the burners hit and broken.

A great old hotel with a new birth after renovation. Small parking is rampolozheniem near the Ritz Carlton and Tver. There's a lot of interesting art object in the modern style and two Russian restaurants Rappoport Dr. Zhivago and Beluga. Atmosphere of ancient Moscow.

Excellent hotel that comes at a great price if you combine flights and hotel on Expedia. Great location, friendly service and spacious rooms. The fitness center offers a swimming pool 12 meters and a sauna. I recommend the Beluga restaurant on the first floor and Doctor Zhivago on the ground floor.

The location is great. It's nice to have exhibitions in these interiors too! The most recent exhibition on decoration has been very successful. Well, of course, restaurants and bars are all praised.

I was at a restaurant, Doctor of the living, a fancy place, and the interior of the restaurant and the Hotel Hall is original. The menu is intrigued, the Russian cuisine is mainly, even the oysters of Sakhalin (by the taste and larger the French). Places are always busy, backed up in advance, but not all in the admire, ate and better and more, waiters are nervous.

The restaurant Dr. Zhivago is an amazing place to enjoy russian food traditions. Excellent quality in the products and amazing service. 200% recommended.

The hotel is very central in the same famous red square, very clean I friendly. Very friendly staff, nice I nice. The breakfast has everything I very rich, you fear the view of pl. Red breakfast. I will return without a doubt:)

The food is very good. It's very comfortable. The cleanliness is impeccable. The attention is great. This superior Central. All in all the hotel is good if you have a bit of money and want to spend a comfortable and enjoyable time.

It is better to take the room overlooking the Ritz-Carlton, from the MOSS very noisy. The staff is wonderful, but the numbers are not worth their money. Breakfast class is caviar and exotic fruits.

A classy place! Style and service.

The end of November 2014 we once again stayed at this wonderful hotel! Best location, opposite Red square, such stunning views of the Kremlin! In the room a huge bed, the softest mattress, pillows, blanket. Good accessories for the shower (shampoo, shower gel, body lotion). On the night of compliments-card with wishes a wonderful stay and wish you sweet dreams, and shokoladka-so nice! On the 7th floor, free Spa center (Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, swimming pool, towels) a Rich and varied Breakfast, but the main course view of the Kremlin from the window of the restaurant! Will definitely come back again.

In this hotel lived my relatives. Praised, said cozy, beautiful hotel, courteous staff.
