WOW Hostel

I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. I stayed in a female-only dorm. Everything was very nicely furnished, clean, and tidy. The common areas were also comfortable and clean.

Wonderful hostel! I've been twice. It's well-located, very clean, and newly renovated. The manager keeps it quiet. You can warm up food and make tea or coffee in the kitchen. Tea is provided! There's no stovetop. There's a dining room with comfortable leather sofas and a TV! When I'm in Moscow, this is the only hostel I'll stay at 🥰. I booked a room for four, and the roommates were nice and quiet.

The hostel is located in a quiet green place, near the metro, in a historical building, very clean, polite administrator: warned that I had 2 reservations, when I contacted them — Ostrovok screwed up.
There was confusion with the reservations, the first reservation was for a room with one large bed, but the reservation was stuck in payment — the operator said that it did not go through and the bank will unblock the money and return it, I had to order another room — a family room, for 3 beds, more expensive and larger. After I contacted the hostel, it turned out that there were 2 reservations, both went through, but in the first room, for which the reservation did not go through, according to Ostrovok, I could check in early in the morning (the train was early in the morning), and in the second only at lunchtime. The administrator asked Ostrovok to return the money for the large room, but Ostrovok returned for the small one, which was stuck. As a result, I paid for a large room for three and was accommodated in a small one, and even with an extra charge for early check-in! I didn't have the strength to sort it out any further, as I felt unwell and had already been texting for 2 days to remove one of the reservations.

Price, location to work.
Cardboard doors, noise until 00:00 at night, very difficult to fall asleep.
From the far end of the corridor you can hear people on the other side bathing and working with a hair dryer, and the lack of a door to the kitchen makes you listen to the participants of the gatherings.
Cheap soft mattresses.
Bed linen with dirty splashes.
I dared to use the shower after handing over the keys to the room, listened to a tirade about how this is not a bath complex and it is forbidden to be in the hostel.

SCAM BY THE STAFF! BE CAREFUL! My sister decided to stay here based on positive reviews. She paid for a day (full prepayment), a girl was talking to her nicely on the phone, my sister said that she needed a room from 02.07 and that she would arrive AT NIGHT (that is, a room from the 2nd — night! ). Upon arrival, the employee began to tell her that the room was only until 12 am on the 2nd (although my sister paid for a day — she must check out at night on the 3rd). The employee began to say that my sister said on the phone that she would arrive on the 1st, but there was absolutely no talk of the 1st! And they went and evicted her. A disgusting hostel, this is how Russia greeted you) ) Be vigilant and do not have any connection with this hostel.

The staff was very friendly.
The location is great.
Even though we arrived late at night, the reception desk let us in, and we had no problems.

Excellent location, center, near the metro and Aptekarsky Ogorod. Several large supermarkets and a large number of places to eat nearby. Excellent work of the staff (thank you, girls, for your attentive attitude). The recent renovation of the bathrooms additionally decorated the stay. This was not our first stay, and we did not even think of choosing something else again. We are always pleased with the thermos and the huge refrigerator in the kitchen, as well as the cleanliness of the rooms and bed linen.

The administrator is a very friendly girl, the place itself is a regular good hostel, the rooms are clean, there is a kitchen (to heat up food, drink tea — there is no stove, you can't cook), a refrigerator, a common area for eating. Everything is generally clean, not shiny, but not critical. The audibility is strong, but if no one makes noise — it will be fine. The rooms are like in the photo.
1. The bathroom. This is very bad, compared to everything else — terrible. Mold, holes in the toilet door, translucent curtains, terribly old furniture. Is it really impossible to treat the room with anti-mold and buy a new rug (the old one is already black)?! It spoils the impression a lot.
2. Location. I had to wander around the courtyards to find the building, I think it is worth sending visitors a video of how to get there. It would be easier)

Horrible, uneducated management! They don’t cooperate with Tbank! They tell clients how expensive hotels in Moscow are! Irina administrator, she’s supposedly the management girl from the 90s.
We were passing through, heading to China and didn’t even rub her nose in how much a trip to China costs!

Great hostel. The metro is literally five minutes away, a quiet courtyard, many shops and cafes within walking distance. Clean, comfortable, helpful and polite staff. If I go to Moscow, I will stay here again.

Relatively clean rooms.
The toilet and showers are combined and are located at the entrance to the kitchen, for some reason there are only 2 toilets and 2 showers. Hairdryers and irons are available upon request, but are not freely available. There is a cooler, but there was no water in it. Now for the best part…
On the last night after 23, I had to move to another bed because the administrator moved a guest into my bed who was away, that is, after I went to bed, I had to move things and bed linen because It was fundamentally important for the guest to sleep on the bed where the administrator placed me. The administrator did not even come into the room at that moment and did not comment on the situation.
It was impossible to sleep all night because of the snoring; even through the headphones, which were at maximum settings, snoring could be heard!
There are no curtains, shelves or lamps on the beds. The sockets were made from extension cords hanging from the bed.
At 8 am the administrator was sleeping, which is why she was unable to iron things before leaving since irons are provided upon request. I also couldn’t get through to get an iron.
Guests live in the hostel on a permanent basis. This is the only place out of all the hostels that I definitely won’t return to.

The hotel is located close to the center, the metro was not very far to walk, which was a plus.
There were shops and places to eat nearby.
The staff is good.
We were very disappointed with the cleaning of the room, dust, dirty floors)
There was one number in the photo, but in reality it was completely different.
There were people sitting in the kitchen until one in the morning and it was very noisy in the room, the walls were very thin)

The location is great. The staff is polite, they explained and showed everything. We really liked it and plan to stay there again in the future if we are in Moscow.
The room is nice, in nice colors. The beds are very comfortable and soft.
Clean like home: excellent.
The walls have weak sound insulation. There's probably nothing else to highlight.
