A very interesting building is located on Shchepkina Street – the A. D. Chernyatin Apartment Building, built between 1912 and 1914 according to the designs of architect E. K. Nirnzee.
The building is known for its architectural style, reminiscent of a "medieval castle, " with pointed turrets and lancet windows. The building is a striking example of the neo-Gothic architectural style.
Until the late 1970s, the building remained residential. Currently, the building is used as an office building and is slated for restoration.
I recommend it to all lovers of architecture and history.

The administrators are rare boors; I have never seen such an attitude towards guests in any hostel or hotel. Indeed, animals, not people. And inadequate. The hostel itself is from the category of "cheap, but cheerful… very cheerful. " And what was written here about lockers is not true at the moment, there are no lockers at the disposal of guests at all, only beds and a hanger. And there is no coffee either. Well, yes, you can put up with this, but never with rudeness. (

Administrator Nina and her either boyfriend or guard of this pigsty. Swearing, screaming, every evening in the kitchen, and during the day too. The daughter goes to the shower, she has to go through the kitchen, and she sees and hears everything. They only snapped at the remark. I'm a very tolerant person, but these two can't be called anything other than animals.
Disgusting hostel. I don't understand where there are so many positive reviews. They probably write to themselves.
