Instead of staying at the Udacha Hostel, we were given accommodation at another similar hostel, Stars, due to heating issues.

Quiet and peaceful location, spacious room. They contacted me in advance and explained everything (I had a late check-in). Good value for money.

An excellent budget hostel near the train station. The rooms are clean and warm. The staff is welcoming. We arrived early and checked in without any problems.

Everything's fine, the room is spacious and all the amenities are good.
The hostel is on the fourth floor without an elevator, so it's hard to lug a suitcase. But that's just a one-time thing.

A good hostel. They checked us in quickly, gave us linens and a towel, and explained everything. Everything was clean. They had everything you need. There were shops nearby.

The hotel is very well located, 5-10 minutes from the main restaurants and tourist shops. Also not far from the Sortavala-Center station and the pier from which boats depart to Valaam.

Stayed for 3 days. Very clean. Cozy atmosphere. We didn’t see the staff, but everything is under control, it’s very convenient. Good mattresses, acceptable linen. The kitchen has everything you need.

A great place to stay on a budget. There's a kitchen, shower, and, especially nicely, a women's dorm.
The building's exterior is intimidating, but inside, everything is clean and quiet.

Friendly receptionist, location is not too far from Lake Onega, to the port to ride a comet to Sizhi Island can also walk, clean rooms, dining room, kitchen and bathroom are quite clean.

Hostel of average comfort. Located on the 5th floor of a building without an elevator. The rooms are small and clean. Located in close proximity to the bus station.

The rooms are dirty (floor, walls). Linen and toilet are clean; there is no kitchen but there is a refrigerator, microwave, kettle in the room and you can take an electric stove, saucepan, etc.

Cheap and modern, located in an apartment, not very far from city center.

Five of us lived as a large family, just us — essentially like a two-room luxury apartment. We were absolutely delighted!

Good staff, clean place but small hostel (specially bathroom and kitchen)

Pros: clean, comfortable, rooms have lockers, hair dryer, iron, laundry — free. Spacious seating area. Wi-Fi, computers, you can work. Shops nearby, bus stop, attractions nearby.

This hostel has everything you need in a budget price. Wifi isn't always working but you'll manage.

A room for two with a shower per night RUB 2400 is quite acceptable and comfortable, I liked it. The room is big. The people are nice.

Every year we go on vacation by car and spend the night here.

The manager Elvira warmly greeted us: she showed us everything and told us what was best to visit in the surrounding area. You could always turn to her for any question!

Very clean, attentive service. Of the minuses: in August, due to maintenance work, there is no water throughout the entire city during the day. No. At all.

Quite decent for an overnight stay, quite clean everywhere, quiet, did not cross paths with other guests. The room itself was very warm, convenient remote check-in.

I was lucky, the hostel was new and there were almost no residents. Clean, calm, comfortable, not far from the train station.
