Everything was great! The location is very convenient – ​​a 10-minute walk from the bus station, the same distance to the central square and pedestrian streets, and the famous Youth Theater is visible from the window. There are plenty of shops nearby.
It's clean and warm, and the room has everything you need: towels, liquid soap, slippers, an electric kettle, tea, water, glasses, shot glasses, a refrigerator, and a hairdryer.
There's a nightclub on the ground floor on weekends, but you can't hear anything from the rooms.
The breakfast is quite filling: scrambled eggs, bread, butter, jam, vegetables, cold meats, and tea/coffee.
The receptionist is very friendly and always willing to help. We'd love to come back!
One caveat: it's best to arrange your arrival time with "Makhaon" in advance. As far as we understand, the receptionist isn't always available during the off-season.

Tired bathroom and equipment. They clean up only superficially, as far as I can see. The toilet brush is stained with old dried stuff. The shower faucet is about to unscrew, the shower stand is broken. Although the linen is changed, this does not help the situation: the bed linen smells of urine.

Continental breakfast: two scrambled eggs, sliced ​​sausage, ham, pickled cucumber, tomato, white bread, butter, jam, coffee from the coffee machine.
The bed is comfortable, the room has an electric kettle and a small refrigerator, and there is an electric heater.
On the ground floor of the guest house there is a bar, where on weekdays there is a disco until 01.00, on weekends — until 06.00. We were given an excellent room on the opposite corner from the bar and the music did not bother us.
One day they didn’t have time to clean the bar and breakfast was brought directly to the room.
The sockets in the room are inconveniently located.

For a small border town and not too touristy, the hotel is very good 👍🏼 Polite and friendly staff, clean room, delicious breakfast. Stayed here for one night, everything was fine.

There is a theater nearby — this hotel was found specifically for visiting it. There are also several grocery stores within a three-minute walk and the central pedestrian street is nearby.
The breakfast is excellent: two scrambled eggs, bacon, raw and boiled smoked sausage, pickled cucumber, fresh tomato, bread, butter, jam, good coffee!
The bed is huge and comfortable. The room is clean and very warm. The bathroom had everything you needed. Hairdryer, shower — everything worked.

We came to Sovetsk to visit the theater and walk around the city. We chose this guest house because it is located a two-minute walk to the place of our cultural recreation. I liked everything: the hotel door is locked; the atmosphere is very homely; the administrator is polite; the room is cozy and clean; the bed is comfortable; kettle, tea and sugar in the room; disco sounds from the bar are practically inaudible in the room and do not disturb sleep; In the morning a delicious breakfast was served in the room. Special thanks to the girl working at the hotel for offering us a scraper for the car, as we didn’t have our own. We are happy with everything, we will come to you again! We recommend 100%.

Forewarned is forearmed! Of course, we knew that on Saturday we would spend the night above a nightclub, so this did not come as a surprise. Music can be heard at night, but in general the soundproofing allows you to fall asleep) It’s worse if you are a smoker: a trip to smoke will introduce you to the entire contingent of the disco, where you will look very ridiculous in your pajamas, surrounded by smug and drunk local party-goers) I was surprised that despite the fact, that on all sites it is indicated that animals are allowed, when we called to clarify about the dog, the first answer was “No! ”, however, in the process of conversation and clarification with the authorities, it turned out that it was still possible. The dog was welcomed — and for that we are very grateful) The rooms are very different, I recommend asking for the fifth one — it is large and with a cool chair, and is also as far away from the disco as possible. The room has a tea set, two bottles of water, a refrigerator, glasses and glasses. Very good breakfast. The bed is really king-size, huge and cool, but it’s not very comfortable for us to sleep under one, albeit gigantic, blanket.
The employee at the reception was very nice) In general, thank you very much, with great pleasure we will add Machaon to the still small list of dog-friendly places in the region.

There is a terrible sewer smell in the bathroom. The room is terribly stuffy, and if you open the windows, it is very loud, there is a roadway on all sides of the hotel, and the road is not asphalt, but paving stones, along which cars drive incredibly loudly. In addition, hordes of Mosquitoes flew into the windows, from which 2 fumigators could not save. In general, after 2 days we fled to another hotel, with air conditioning.

The bathroom in our room smelled like sewage. But if the door is closed, the room is fine.
There are some kind of warehouses nearby, there are also trucks driving there, they make a little noise, but for us it was not critical.
We visited on a weekday, there was no party at the club downstairs, and on the weekend it probably wouldn’t be very comfortable to relax.
