Smart Hotel Kaliningrad Mini hotel

The hotel is located in the building of the railway station, 500 meters from the bus station. I needed a room for one day because of the transfer from the bus to the plane (8 hours interval). There is nothing more convenient than such a hotel. Thank you very much.
The room is clean, ventilated.
I booked the hotel almost a month in advance. The day before check-in, the staff called and clarified whether there would be check-in or not and what time. It was very nice.

Thank you for spontaneously, without a reservation, being able to arrange for us to sleep from 5 am to 12 pm, it was very sleepy after a sleepless night on the road! The rooms are like in a regular hostel, we were in a common room, there are sockets, there is a bathroom, there is a kitchen opposite, everything is great! For tired travelers — this is it! And a very humane attitude.

Worst hotel I've ever been to. It is better to rent a hostel, although for this price there are no problems finding an apartment or hotel. It was hot, +30 in the room, no air conditioning or fan, no elevator (carry your suitcase up the stairs yourself), no nets on the windows, mosquitoes flew in. The doors are so thin that through them you can hear the staff’s phone ringing in the hallway, I even rushed to look for the phone in my room, I thought someone had forgotten 😅

Location, service. Well, and the opportunity to leave luggage.

We vacationed in this place twice, both times we took the same room (comfort, with a double bed and a large wardrobe, a luxurious dressing table, with its own kitchen)
Excellent for this price! Everything is clean, the furniture is new, I would remove the carpets from the floor or replace them with new ones and a larger and newer shower stall. The bathroom is very spacious, there is a separate bathtub and a separate shower. High ceilings and windows. If I go to Kaliningrad again, I will stay at this hotel in this room again.
The location is perfect. One day I forgot to turn off the curling iron, but remembered when I was already sitting on the train. It took me 4 minutes to go to my room, turn off the electrical appliance and return to the same place on the same train! Priceless!

Bad (terribly synthetic) underwear, and you also have to do it yourself, this crackling one. Disgusting chipped floor, dirty chairs. Dirt all around the room. Chapped doors. There is a common toilet behind the wall, you can hear everything that is being done there, and there is a strong smell of perfumed disinfectants. The bathroom is also all old, you feel like you are in the restroom of a regional hospital. Of course the shower does not switch to the top. Everything is designed so that they don’t stay there for a long time.
The girls at the reception are very friendly, this is the only good thing about this hotel. And only there is water, warm from the cooler. On the 3rd floor there is a dining room with a refrigerator. It’s better not to go there, the disgusting smell of ancient catering… But I had to leave the bag in the refrigerator there. Everything remained safe and sound.

There is a large supermarket nearby, and there is a canteen in the bus station building. On the third floor of the hotel there is a room for eating — kettle, microwave, refrigerator, dishes. The room itself has a TV, shower, toilet — everything is in working order. I had a view of the station square. Special thanks to the staff, they explained everything, gave advice, very polite employees. I recommend.

Nearly impossible to find the hotel, description (as often) not sufficient. Nearly no local knows about the hotel. No Signboard outside. You have to enter the Station via security check, then turn right at the end of the hall on the right side is a signboard to the hotel. — reception. At night the station is closed beside the main entrance is another entrance with a bell, no signboard again. If you ring the bell, someone will let you in.
General problem with Ostrovok description. If I choose a low-cost hotel, sometimes I have to look for an hour to find. Sometimes a nightmare if with heavy luggage. Often needing the help of locals. You must change and deliver better description with confirmation email, how to find.
