Prussia Hotel

We stayed at the Prussia Hotel at the end of May 2025 (6 days), to say that the hotel was HORRIBLE is to say nothing. The Prussia Hotel (Kaliningrad) is a SHED under the hotel building that has not seen repairs for 30 years. The room is terrible, the furniture is old, all "peeling", frayed, the chairs (seats) are dirty, "greasy", it is unpleasant to sit on them, the bed linen is torn, the towels are poorly washed, not white, but with a gray tint, and the foot towel is generally one for two, as the administrator explained the order of the management (no personal hygiene). Water does not drain in the shower, there is nowhere to hang the shower head, you had to hold the shower head with one hand, wash with the other, the toilet paper holder is broken, the sink is broken, the shelf in the shower is all peeling. The railings on the balcony are rusty, slopes, it is generally creepy to look at, like some kind of "torpedo". When we checked in there was some kind of rag under the bed, when we left the rag was still there, apparently they hadn't vacuumed it at all. It's a shame that getting to know Kaliningrad was marred by our stay at this hotel. And the breakfasts are a separate horror story, for breakfast they offer a piece of PROCESSED cheese, a piece of sausage and pancakes of a grey colour and dubious taste. I don't know who writes positive reviews, apparently the administration itself, in order to deceive people. Avoid this barn!

Guys, we stayed here for a couple of days at the end of April 2025. Behind the loud name lies a small chicken coop in the Moscow district of the city, quite far from the center. The furniture is old. The TV has 1.5 channels. The bathroom is dirty and old. The administration turned off the autonomous heating of this hut when it was +9 degrees outside. The rooms were very cold. But the rude administrator Alla refused to give a heater or change the room. We were forced to buy our own heater.
We recommend that you avoid this barn like the plague.

Great hotel! Cozy rooms, attentive staff, hearty breakfasts. Great location — a step away from the center. Calm atmosphere, despite the proximity to busy streets. Impeccable cleanliness and comfort. Definitely recommend!

We booked a room for 9.11.2024. We made the reservation a week in advance. We chose a room with a balcony on the website. We also found out on the website that you can order breakfast or dinner in the cafe, which is located at the hotel and is open from 8:00 to 22:00. But when we arrived at the hotel, the room was different, not the one we chose on the website. We were not able to have dinner either. Since the cafe was already closed, although it was only 17:00. After which we were offered two other rooms to choose from. We checked into room 46. The batteries in the room were cold. A couple of hours later, we went down to the administrator and told her about it. After which she said that there was a tap on the battery that needed to be turned. Why couldn't you warn us about this when checking in? There was not a single napkin in the room. The cleaning leaves much to be desired. The bed linen on the bed was in disarray. The glasses were all stained. The floors probably weren't washed, there was dust everywhere.

I visited the Prussia Hotel in May 2024. It was a trip as part of a business trip, which turned out to be a little touristic. When choosing a hotel, I was guided by the fact that it was located in a quiet place, included a part of the city in which it was located and had a reasonable price. Considering the sky-high prices for hotels in the center of Kaliningrad and the crazy demand for them, for some reason, precisely for these May holidays, the choice fell on the Prussia Hotel.
The hotel positioned itself as an atmospheric place located in a quiet part of the city, not far from the main transport routes (which would allow access to all attractions). Which of this turned out to be true? Let's figure it out.
Indeed, the hotel is located in a quiet place, on the relative outskirts of the city (everyone has Google maps, you can double-check this point). But I was a little unlucky with the silence: renovations were being done in the neighboring building and something was rumbling… for some reason, specifically at night from 24 at night until 4-5 in the morning. Otherwise, yes, everything corresponds. Moreover, there are two wonderful parks nearby, where you can spend your free time from visiting the city’s attractions.
Atmospheric. Also true.

Good hotel. Excellent value for money and quality. The room is clean. There is everything you need: refrigerator, kettle, TV. There is a public transport stop not far from the hotel, we could get everywhere we needed without any problems. The staff is friendly. We were pleased.

Plus, the location, the room was clean, but… there was a large purple stain on the duvet cover — very unpleasant. Be prepared to lug your bags up to the 4th floor. And the main disadvantage is strong audibility. You can even hear simple conversations in the next room, the neighbors were noisy at night and you couldn’t get enough sleep.

Quite a wonderful hotel for the money.
1. I didn’t like the fact that the room faced the road and the cars didn’t let me sleep all night. Maybe in cold weather, when the window is closed, it is not so audible, but in the summer with the window open it was terrible.
2. The beds in the double room are very narrow and the pillow… well, at least 2 pieces per bed) ) But who, of course, is used to sleeping. ) )

I do not recommend this hotel.
I don’t know why the cleaning lady works here, because she hardly does her job. Arrived — the room is not ready. The room must be cleaned every three days, bed linen changed, etc. It's been 5 days, the cleaning service has just taken out the garbage, although two days in a row they specifically came up and asked to clean up. Carry heavy suitcases to the third floor yourself, of course. The room is old, dirty, there are stains on the ceilings and walls, there are also some boogers, the shower looks terrible, the lamps are not working, the gel and shampoo suck.

The hotel is located on a quiet street, at the same time public transport stops are within walking distance (5 minutes walk to the stops). Nearby is a park with a pond, walk-up stations, and children's playgrounds. It takes 15-20 minutes to get to the historical center. It takes 10-15 minutes to get to the South Station (you can get to the seaside by train). There is a bakery and mini market next to the hotel.
Liked everything. The price corresponds to the quality.

Cafes and shops are within walking distance. The city center can be reached in 15 minutes by taxi.
The room is spacious, clean and comfortable and quiet. At first it was cool, but the lady from the reception turned on the radiators and everything became fine.
The staff is very polite. We checked in 1.5 hours earlier than check-in time without any extra charges. Excellent decoration of the hotel itself. Thank you very much for your vacation, we will come to you in May.
We liked everything, we will book again.

A very cozy and atmospheric hotel. Caring staff, always smiling. The seemingly formidable security guard turned out to be very responsive, gave us a tour of the history of the area, and gave us maps and brochures. The breakfasts were also a delight, with wonderful cheesecakes and amazing home-made gingerbreads. I will definitely come again) Sergey, Nizhny Novgorod.

The room is small, but for two people everything was fine. The bed was large, comfortable, there was a bedside table only on one side, and there was a lamp on it. There is a TV, it is small. The bathroom has a shower, shower accessories included, and a hairdryer.
As I understand, the bed linen was changed on the third day of stay. The shelves are clean, the floors too, the rugs are vacuumed.
