Oberteich Living quarters

For the first time I decided to write a review about my stay, having extensive experience of checking into different hotels.
Information For guests — when you book through the Oberteich website, please note that you may be transferred from the luxury page to a regular room.
That’s what happened to us.
12/31/23 upon check-in, I was surprised that the reservation was not in the Oberteich Suite, but in the Oberteich. We will give you a second blanket.
2. If there is a sofa in the deluxe room, i. E. A second bed, they offered to pay for bed linen for each day.
3. The door to the bathroom and toilet did not close; unfortunately, on holidays it is not possible to call a repairman.
4. The internal telephone did not work; if you had any desire or question you had to go down to the reception.
5. There is no kettle in the deluxe room — the reason is a large number of guests and people who want a kettle.
6. The trash can is only in the toilet. There are no more buckets provided in the two-room suite.
7. To connect Wi-Fi, I regularly had to call the administrator, which still did not solve the issue in 5 days.
There will be no desire to check into such a hotel again.
However, I want to thank the ideal administrator, who, unfortunately for us, worked as a fairy on the third day of our stay Elena, she resolved technical issues with our accommodation.
It is these employees who work 100% that make us happy and create a good mood, no matter what happens. Many thanks to her.

The house is located in a wonderful area right next to the lake. The views are wonderful, the air is clean. It turned out that this was not a hotel, but a residential building and the room was rented to us. I had to fill out a bunch of paperwork and a contract. In general, the owner of the house prepared everything in advance and we didn’t have to wait long. There is no food, but within walking distance there is a cafe with wonderful breakfasts. You can order directly to your room. We liked. Cozy, well-kept area. You can drink coffee on the terrace and admire the sunsets.

Initially, we checked into a room on the first floor, the room was fresh, clean, the toilet room was combined with a shower in the shared room, we were pleased with the exception that every morning at 8 am the front door bell rings and wakes us up.
Later we were moved to a suite on the second floor, In general, we didn’t understand the luxury of this room, the bed is in a niche, you can’t approach it from the side, only from the end, the second room is neat, comfortable, the decoration of the room is no different from the room on the first floor.
I was very dissatisfied with the toilet room, namely toilet! It was installed for a giant, I am 176 cm tall. And when I sat down on it, my legs were hanging, and I reached the floor with my socks, it was terrible, my wife’s legs actually hung like a child’s!
Breakfasts are good, everything is decent, tasty!
The staff is friendly, responsive!

Cozy, clean rooms, closed, well-groomed hotel area. The hotel is located in a picturesque place, a beautiful view, a lake, an amusement park, around houses like toys. The room is very warm, I think it will be stuffy in the summer, one window opens, no air conditioning, a strange blanket (as thick as a mattress, but the size of a single mattress), the staff is helpful, the dining room offers breakfast, everything is always fresh.

A normal hotel in a very picturesque location. I recommend it for consideration if you are planning to stay in the city center. In the evening you can take a walk along the lake embankment. An amusement park across the street.
Of the small minuses — the room overlooking the lake turned out to have a view of some dilapidated buildings, which was a little disappointing. Breakfast is also quite simple, it won’t blow your mind.

The hotel is located in the area of ​​the upper pond, literally a minute and you are on the embankment. Check-in was quick, the room was very spacious, everything was clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the dental kit included in the room price. We asked for an extra blanket and a couple of pillows, which were provided without any problems. Towels were changed every day, linen every other day. The maid's job is great! For breakfast, pre-order from several dishes, a choice of one (oatmeal, sausages, scrambled eggs, pancakes, omelet, egg pancake), juice, tea/coffee and cold cuts. You get full, but I would like the cuts to be different every day too. The hotel is very quiet. There is a small parking lot, you need to open the gate yourself.
In the nearby Oberteich Suite, a five-minute walk away, you can visit the sauna.
A huge request for the hotel to add a shelf in the shower. There is nowhere to put shampoo when you wash.
In general, Kaliningrad has very friendly people, a pleasant city, and only positive impressions.

The hotel is in a very good location, among old German houses and modern villas on the lake. Great place for a walk. Shops, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance (only verandas are still open). The hotel has a wonderful breakfast and unlimited coffee. Order breakfast items one day in advance. The room is clean, cleaned every day, the bathroom has all the accessories, including toothbrushes. If necessary, additional blankets, sheets, towels, etc. Are provided. You can take a kettle with cups. All at no additional cost.
