Nevskiy Hotel

I recently stayed at the hostel and was very pleased! The cleanliness and order in the rooms are at the highest level, which is very important for a comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and always ready to help with any questions. The atmosphere in the hostel is simply wonderful — there are a lot of interesting people with whom you can chat and exchange experiences. I also liked that there is a shared kitchen where you can cook something delicious. The location of the hostel is excellent — close to the main attractions, which makes it convenient to plan excursions. I recommend it to anyone looking for a budget and comfortable place to stay!

We booked a hostel room for one night since Kaliningrad was a stopover. We checked in without any problems. There is a shower and a bathroom. The room was bright and clean. The hallway and shower room are also clean. I also liked the service. If we have to, we will stay here again. What we also liked and found very necessary was parking next to the hostel. Since we were traveling from Germany by car, we left her under supervision for three weeks. When they picked me up, everything was fine.

Overall good for this price range. Everything is clean. Entrance to the room and kitchen using an electronic key is convenient.
I didn’t like that the staff could just walk into the room, just ask, just look, open the door and walk in. And I would like at least a small mirror in the room, you can only look in the toilet.

Before checking into this hostel, think twice, or even thrice.
It all started long before the trip, I booked a private room and asked if there would be any problems with a late check-in, since I understood that I would most likely arrive late at night. No one answered me for a month, and when the trip was already a few days later, I had to write again, after which the administrator called me and answered in a passive-aggressive manner that I first needed to pay for the room and then ask questions. But he added that check-in at night was possible, so I decided not to cancel the reservation. Very in vain.
After paying for the room, they sent me check-in instructions with an access code and my room number. As expected, I arrived late at night, the administrator can only be called after 21:00 for urgent matters, so I did not bother him. As a result, I was unable to enter the room using my code and had to call the administrator, who opened the room remotely. When I entered, I saw garbage, scattered clothes, alcohol in my room! And instead of apologizing for the mistake, everyone started attacking me in the same passive aggressive manner, saying that their room numbers were CONSTANTLY CHANGING, and in general I had to call when checking in! And that it’s my own fault! I'm just completely shocked by this attitude.

This is the worst hostel in my life! It's impossible to get enough sleep. Rating: 0/10.
Facts:
— The walls and ceiling are like cardboard — you can hear absolutely everything, even snoring.
— I can constantly hear the grinding noise from the beds that the residents move at night, but I will leave extraneous sounds of an intimate nature without comment.
— There is a strong smell of bleach in the room, the rest of the hostel smells like a basement.
— The hostel is located among tire shops, barbed wire is visible from the window, it feels like being in a prison.
— The price is slightly lower than in the city center, but the quality does not match.
— Entering the room using a code, each button beeps loudly, which is very annoying.
— The atmosphere is gloomy and depressing; I wanted to leave from the very beginning, but was too lazy to look for another place.

I visited this hostel several times and was very delighted each time. It has all the necessary things, the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean. I will come here again with great pleasure.

I've been here twice with my wife, both times I really enjoyed it. Everything a traveler needs is available here. Clean bed linen, towel, shower, kitchen, all appliances, small dining room. Main retail outlets are within walking distance.
The staff is helpful and friendly.

Conveniently located, city center, near a cafe stop. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators, a kettle, cutlery, a stove, a microwave, a washing machine, everything is there. There is a relaxation area with sofas and a TV, the hostel has free Wi-Fi. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom. The room is clean 👍I stayed for a week, I really liked it 👍THANK YOU ❤️I RECOMMEND.

Good location 5 min. Walk from the Kutuzovo Novoe railway station, from where direct commuter trains conveniently reach the center of Kaliningrad, as well as Zelenogradsk and Svetlogorsk. Near the hostel there are shops and other civilization. The private single room is good and clean, but I can’t say anything about the shared ones.
The hostel is surrounded by car repair shops, tire shops and all that other stuff. The approach and access is a dusty, broken road. A toilet combined with a shower is clearly not enough for one floor.

I was pleasantly pleased with the price and services offered. I thought that I lived on the outskirts, but no, every day I returned home from the center on foot with great pleasure. I would just like to wish to build another shower room with amenities on the 2nd floor) ) ) The rest is quite decent. If I happen to come again, I will choose Nevsky) ) )
