KD Hostel

The hostel is great! I went with a friend, I really liked it, it was clean, there was air conditioning, friendly staff.
The kitchen is good, there is a microwave and stove. Free coffee is served in the morning.
The hostel is in the very center, next to the station, which is very convenient for traveling around the city and region.
I recommend it to everyone :)

The best hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff is attentive and friendly. Everywhere is very clean, excellent mattresses and pillows, snow-white and pleasant to the touch linen.
In the mornings, the administrator makes coffee for guests; on the kitchen windowsill there is a small bed with herbs, peppers and tomatoes. There is a spacious refrigerator where you can leave your food.
Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, everything is beautiful, everything is clean and home-like, in the good sense of the word, cozy 💕

Excellent hostel in the very center of Kaliningrad. Very homely atmosphere, great energy, cleanliness and tidiness. On the windowsill there is a small vegetable garden — greens for salad. Comfort for feet, since everyone is wearing slippers, feet rest after traveling. Attentive and friendly staff.

I was in this hostel for the second time and again I was satisfied. This time the cost was a little higher, but the room had a shower and the windows overlooked the courtyard. In addition to the gorgeous location, cleanliness and order, I will also note the work of the staff. Thank you for your attention and care!
Of the minuses, I note the presence of a TV. Some guests decide that everyone wants to watch the news at full volume. And the presence of one refrigerator. He was always very plump.
And everything is so wonderful!

The best hostel I have ever been in. Seriously. Breathtaking in every aspect!

+ Great location, in the city center, close to everything.
+ Very comfortable beds.
+ Feeling of privacy thanks to the curtain.
+ Every bed equipped with a small lamp, power plug, shelf and small box that you can close with a private key.
+ Good and helpful staff.
— A bit too hot in the room although the air conditioning was on.
— Somebody took my private soap… — _ — but I managed to get it back.

Great stay overall, in the 100+ hostels I've stayed at, this has got to be the cleanest hostel I've been in, so my compliments to the cleaning babushka. The staff were obliging and helped with any requests, although most of them didn't speak too much English — there is one staff member who does speak perfect English but she was only there for one of the days. You can pay by card and contactless at that.
I really don't have anything negative to say about the hostel except that the water in the shower was a push-button system and it was annoying to have to keep repressing the button every minute. Also you have to bring house slippers to wear in the hostel, and leave your outdoor shoes at the reception. Another thing, and this is a minor nitpick really — the hostel staff could improve on the introduction of the city. There's a very good walking route around Kaliningrad where you can see all the fortification points of the old citadel, yet I didn't find this out till my last day, and from my own exploration of the city. It would have been nice if the hostel staff had informed me of this on my first day and drawn this out on the good city map they provided. But of course all of these are nice-to-haves — the hostel did its job as a clean and cosy place to stay at.

Best hostel I've ever been to! Much privacy and excellent location! In addition it's cheap.

Never before have I slept in any hostel with such a great location! It's just next to the main square.
Generally speaking, the hostel is nice :) Every bed has own curtain, lamp and socket. There were never queues to the bathroom and no problems with using the kitchen. Everyone has own locked cabinet for clothes and also small locked safe just above the bed.
I would recomment staying here to everyone.

Good points :
1. Location : very central! 1 min to the victory square and a big shopping mall! 5 mins to the local train station. 20 mins walk to the kent island!
2. Staff : very friendly and helpful! All English speaking!
3. Super clean in all areas, including room, common area, bathroom and also kitchen.
4. Cozy and colourful design.
5. Bed : all with curtain, a bright light, a shelf, an electronic socket, a locker and a storage space!
6. Dorm room is ensuite! But they still have extra public bathroom, toilet and sink! And they separate all the things so that u can use them at the same time.
7. Well equipped kitchen.
8. Air con in the room!
I only have 3 minor complaints :
1. The hostel is located at the 2nd floor, so u have to climb up the stairs to reach the hostel.
2. The locker and the shelf is a bit too tiny.
3. You have to push the button in order to get water from the shower.

Cozy and clean interior, polite and helpful staff. The beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. That was a great stay, would definitely visit again!
