From the airport 20 minutes by bus, to the North Station or Kant Island 25 minutes on foot (10 minutes by public transport). A hub for bus routes, you can quickly go in any direction.
The breakfasts are simply excellent and there is something for every taste. There is something for everyone to choose from.
The only negative is the lack of air conditioning. In extreme heat, the fan is not very helpful. The bed is good, bed linen and towels were changed every day. A nice bonus is a bottle of water every day.
The maids are great. Everywhere is perfectly clean.
The staff is excellent and very friendly. They will always answer how to get where, there are a lot of advertising materials for tourists.

The junior suite is located on the roof, the windows are in the ceiling: you can’t open them — dust pours in. We arrived: the kettle was broken, but they replaced it; The refrigerator is leaking, the air conditioner is crackling and it is impossible to sleep with it, it is inconvenient to wash in the bathroom while standing, only on your knees, since you are resting against the ceiling. There is no heated towel rail: there is an electric heater, on which you cannot hang things. The girl at the reception does not remember her guests. The roof is heated, the room is stuffy. There is no elevator, it is inconvenient to walk with luggage, please note that the room is on the 3rd floor.

Hotel Dona left very pleasant memories of itself… Friendly staff greets you at the reception. The room is comfortable, there is everything you need, from bathrobes and slippers to a tea table with a capsule coffee machine… We took a double suite. I really liked the room. Two rooms, a large comfortable bed, good linen, plumbing in good condition. There were no interruptions in hot water! The windows overlooked the courtyard, it was quite quiet. The location of the hotel itself is very convenient, next to the Amber Museum, public transport stop, and the Upper Pond. Breakfast is not very varied, but there is the most necessary thing, you won’t go hungry… You can always choose something for yourself. For my birthday, I was treated to a beautiful dessert, which was very nice.
No obvious shortcomings.

My husband and I stayed at the Don Hotel from June 2-8. We really liked everything, full breakfasts, room service. The girls at the reception are very responsive, happy to explain all the nuances of travel and walking around the city. Room cleaning and linen change every day. Everything in in good condition. The hotel is quiet, there is no extraneous noise from other rooms. In general we were very pleased!

A pleasant hotel, close to the Upper Pond and some of the attractions, and public transport stops, from where you can get to the airport, Zelenogradsk or just to the city center.

The main big disadvantage: they were able to wash themselves with hot water only at 7 am. During the day when we checked in, the water was cold — they didn’t pay attention. We arrived in the evening and there was no hot water. We called the reception and they said “wait and don’t drain the water, it doesn’t have time to heat up in the boiler. ” We waited 40 minutes — nothing changed. This, of course, greatly spoiled the impression. It's good that we only stayed for one night.

Close to the center (Kanta Island), there is a tram stop nearby, which allows you to quickly get to attractions and shopping centers. The area is quiet. The hotel has a good breakfast, and you can find places to eat nearby.

Very poor breakfast. When booking, I relied on reviews, but it looks like they were paid for.
Tired room. On the plus side, it was warm in the room and there was a bath. Everything else requires cosmetics, and the doors need to be replaced.
The girl at the reception is very polite. No elevator or porter. You lift your suitcase to the third floor yourself.

A few steps away is the Amber Museum. Excellent accessibility, close to a transport stop. The airport express stops close to the hotel.
Delicious food for every appetite. Everything is fresh and varied. Cozy, clean.
The room has a transparent glass door to the bathroom. The heavy, massive door creaks and hits the floor. It's unclear and inconvenient.

Good internet, pretty good breakfasts, quiet rooms and comfortable bed. The staff is polite and pleasant to talk to.
The hotel is tired, you can especially feel it in the rooms. Carpets, style, it's time to change everything. The location is so-so, you can’t reach it on foot, but you can get everywhere by taxi in 5-10 minutes.

Stayed one night.
The room has everything you need: slippers, shower set, three towels (for feet, face/hands, large), mini refrigerator (drinks in it are paid), kettle, tea bags, coffee, sugar + free 0.5 liters of water, safe, hairdryer, TV.
Breakfast is good (scrambled eggs, cheesecakes, cheese, sausage, sausages, cookies, all kinds of jams, sour cream, cottage cheese…). I think I'll please everyone.
Of the minuses — it’s worth updating the furniture in the room (the cabinets, doors, for example, are already worn out, the water in the shower flows strangely (it’s difficult to adjust, the pressure is low, sometimes cold, sometimes hot)
The location is good — close to shops, park square, transport…

Near the Don Tower, the location is excellent, convenient to walk and get everywhere. Transport is all nearby.
The service is good, friendly staff, breakfast food is also ok.

Were in March 2021 from Friday to Sunday. We took a LUX room, but in the end we got a union hotel room of the eighties, smoky with slender covers of chairs and carpets, a wardrobe door that does not open, shabby doors, a broken shower holder, a clogged sewer and an unwashed coffee machine. As already written above: the lack of sound insulation of the interior and from the street, transparent curtains are short and narrow for windows. We also saved on water, a small bottle for two per day) ) ). And the most interesting thing: when we were going to forget the lock, and the room was vacated in the morning, we went on an excursion, the suitcase was left at the reception, we flew away in the evening and when we picked up the suitcase they did not return it! We got a second-hand thing. The conclusion is obvious.

Very good 3* hotel. Breakfast is very very good. Omlet, porridge, pastry, cold buffet. Good vaiority of tea and espresso. Rooms are with very good bathroom. Towels being changed every day. But this is 3*. Don't expect a lot from rooms. Also no elevators and it was a bit difficult for me to get 3d floor by staircase.
