Already at the entrance to the hotel the first disappointments began. There was a wedding taking place in the restaurant and the music was screaming throughout the entire floor. The reception desk, for some strange reason, was on the second floor. There was a crowd of people there and only one unfriendly administrator.
When we waited for our turn, it turned out that our room was not ready for check-in, or rather, it didn’t exist at all. We waited an hour and a half for the administrator to find a room for us and even took part in a joint search for a room.
She explained this by the fact that the cleaners had already finished their work day and had not cleaned the rooms.
I finally finished off the security guard’s advice to the administrator — “Just change their bed and check in! ”, after which I decided to take the money and find another hotel.
General impression from the hotel — a hostel, for those who want to remember their student years, get drunk and have fun in the rooms, not giving a damn about the other residents, while not receiving any comments from the hotel administration.
This is exactly what I saw in the process of searching for a room. I can send the video to everyone.
Those who write positive reviews are either friends of the hotel workers, or rather strange people who have not seen normal hotels for this price.

We booked the hotel through Yandex, upon arrival they began to lecture us about the need to book earlier, call in advance and say that you are going to come, because… The hotel staff barely had time to prepare the room (check-in time was around 21.00). Why give out unsolicited advice for next time, which with such an attitude will definitely not happen! It felt like we had arrived as uninvited guests, and not to a hotel, but to an employee’s home.
In my opinion, the receptionist has a slightly misunderstanding about working in the service sector, why introduce conversations about what did not happen, and tell me the “inner hotel kitchen”, where, judging by the information, there is no maid on a permanent basis? Why ruin the experience for your guests? I recommend that management pay attention to this and remind the employee what the service sector is or send him to the appropriate courses. The room is not 3*, not 2*, obviously not good enough — the smell in the room, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired, broken furniture, masses of flies in the lamps, black mold in the bathroom, peeled wallpaper.
In any case, I do not recommend this place!

We stayed at this hotel for four nights in early June. Before my trip to Kaliningrad, I read reviews about “Baltika” on various sites, the reviews were, of course, sad. From uncleaned rooms to not tasty breakfasts. I’ll write right away that overall I liked the hotel. The room was on the second floor, the windows overlooked the lake. In the room: comfortable bed, TV, refrigerator, glasses. The furniture is old, but it didn’t spoil the overall appearance. In the bathroom: hair dryer, towels, shower gel and hair shampoo. Towels were changed every day and shampoo and gel were renewed. In the common corridor there is a water cooler and an ironing board and iron. The breakfasts are not even bad, you definitely won’t leave hungry. At the reception you can choose an excursion. The only big minus is transport.
Waiting for it is really a problem. On the second day we already used taxi services. Getting there to the center costs on average 300-350 rubles. You can get to the hotel quickly, I used Uber.

I have to write a review a second time, the previous one was deleted. Instead of cleaning up your reputation, it would be better to get down to business and put the rooms in proper shape.
The hotel is a deuce. In principle, it is difficult to call this barn a hotel. Dirty, smelly, with old furniture, covered in body fluids.

After they started knocking out the tiles on the floor above with a hammer drill, after a scandal at the reception and a written statement, we managed to change the room to 4 floors below + to a category higher.
The hotel restaurant is good, tasty, not expensive, large portions.
The beds, mattress, blankets and pillows are good.
Price, 5676 rub. For a room without air conditioning and drinking water, well, this is too much, it’s clear that it’s the season, but the quality of the hotel and services does not correspond to the price tag.
Cleaning is not daily, breakfasts have not changed in 5 days, there were 2 fried eggs, the rest is scanty, 1 type of porridge, cold cuts, meatballs and sausages (all meats), vegetables and side dishes, cottage cheese and casseroles.
You can fill your stomach, but no more. (The coffee is not tasty)
Wi-Fi is slow, it’s impossible to work remotely, and online movies are absolutely nothing to write home about.
The location is not very good, just outside the city.

The room is clean. Good breakfast. There is parking for cars.
When checking in at 3 a. M. There was no administrator at the reception; he was sleeping. The elevator technician was sitting. Couldn't find our reservation. The administrator tried to call the speaker for about 10 minutes, but without success. I went to wake him up. I came back and said they would come now. The admin came and hurray we were checked in. All this took about 20-30 minutes. ) ) ) ) ) )

We were in March, in the evening from — 3 to — 5. All batteries in the room are turned off (in the bathroom, it is not possible to turn it on, it is blocked somewhere in another room). Air conditioning remotes are collected from rooms until May.
The service is terrible, the girls at the reception are not openly rude, but they talk on the verge.
I will never use the services of this hotel again and I do not recommend it to you. Read the reviews) unfortunately, I didn’t pay attention to them.

I don’t know who writes what will happen, but this is the worst place I’ve ever been, a real homeless person. I arrived at 12 at night and went to change my room three times. Results I stayed only because of fatigue, since I drove 1300 km, if it weren’t for the long road, I would never have stayed there!

Everything is fine, but the entrance to the motel itself is simply terrible. To get here you need to drive through 101 deep holes, there is no other way to call it. Okay, there are holes near Lukoil, but right at the entrance to the Baltic there are huge holes that cannot be avoided from any direction. They hit the bottom so hard that they thought they had broken through. They could have taken care of their guests and filled up these terrible holes.

The rooms are cleaned, it is clear that they take care of cleanliness.
The furniture and plumbing are tired, in general, as expected. There are nets on the windows. The shower works properly, the hot water is hot, the drain works, you don't have to stand in a puddle.
Cleaning came to the room every day.
Air conditioning, hair dryer, refrigerator are available and, most importantly, they work. In the hallway there is a cooler and a board with an iron.
Breakfast is normal, a buffet, not varied, but quite pleasant. Even dietary. There are two coffee machines.
The location is both a minus and a plus, there is no noise and the stop is within walking distance, but the hotel is far from the center, on public transport you have to be prepared to make room and/or wait for the desired route, and by taxi you need to open your pocket wider.
A huge minus is the road in front of the hotel, it’s dark and there are a lot of people who like to press the gas. There is no pedestrian crossing.

Very cool hotel in its class. The location is quiet and very beautiful. Located a bit far from the city center. It took 15-20 minutes to get to the center by taxi. Then I figured it out and started using public transport. The bus stop is located next to the hotel.

Before checking in, we were told that the rooms were clean and everything was ready. As a result, only the bed sheets and towels were changed. There was trash from previous vacationers, a pack of cigarettes under the bed, and a dirty bathtub and sink. Also the rooms are very cold, the heating was only on in the bathroom.

The hotel requires urgent renovation. Not bad for 1985, but terrible nowadays. The work of the administrator Sona is a separate story; it is not clear why copies of passports are taken if a person makes mistakes in the response documents. The second administrator, Maria, did not react quite adequately to a polite request to correct the reporting documents; the phrase “don’t stand over your soul, Sona did it! ” simply killed me on the spot. In general, the impression is one big barn, with creaky beds, Grandma's closets, dirty furniture in the breakfast room and not entirely adequate reception staff.

— The hotel has very strong audibility, you can hear absolutely everything: conversations, other guests in the corridor, doors opening and closing, it is simply impossible to relax while other rooms are being checked out.
— Breakfast is very mediocre, poor selection, terrible coffee.
— The hotel has only two elevators; during periods of full occupancy, you can endlessly wait in line to go downstairs.
— There is not a single store nearby, a tourist needs to go to any place that a tourist may need (we used a taxi, there may be public transport)

Fair price good food.
But very decentral plus water smells a bit.
But really nice place.
