na Sovetskoj Hotel in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is Hotel on Sovetskaya located and what is nearby?

The hotel is located in the center of Troitsk, which is considered very convenient. Supermarkets and the bus station, offering routes to Kazakhstan, are located nearby. Guests note that the town is historic; however, one visitor mentioned that it is quite far to reach the train station.

How polite is the staff and how are issues resolved at Hotel on Sovetskaya?

Many guests describe the staff as polite, smiling, and helpful. However, there has been some negative feedback: one guest encountered an issue regarding a smoking deposit refund. According to the guest, the receptionist was unable to resolve the matter on the spot, explaining that the manager was away visiting friends, which led to a conflict.

Is a deposit required upon check-in, and how is it refunded?

A security deposit ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 rubles is required upon check-in. The refund process can sometimes cause issues: one guest reported a dispute over a partial deduction from the deposit for smoking, as the contract terms were not explained upon signing.

What breakfast and additional dining options are available?

The hotel offers breakfast, which can be paid for in advance; guests describe it as delicious. There is also a café and a small shop on the ground floor selling fresh salads and pastries.

How reliable is the in-room Wi-Fi?

The internet quality at the hotel has drawn some complaints. One guest noted that the connection was terrible, preventing the in-room TV from working at all.

How is the soundproofing in the room?

Guest reviews are mixed. Some describe the atmosphere as very quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep. At the same time, another visitor described the soundproofing as terrible, noting that everything happening in the hallway and neighboring rooms was audible.

What is the condition of the furniture, beds, and overall room decor?

Guests are generally satisfied with the sleep quality, noting new comfortable mattresses, good-quality linens, and overall cleanliness. Some rooms feature new furniture: a desk, chair, bedside tables, and a wardrobe with mirrored doors. However, there are complaints about the room size being smaller than advertised (under 18 sq m) and a missing handle on the bathroom door (with a hole in its place).

How clean are the rooms and public areas?

Cleanliness at the hotel is rated very highly. Guests frequently mention that the rooms are spotless, bed linens are fresh, and the shower stalls are clean with good drainage. Overall, the hotel maintains a high standard of order and cleanliness.

Horror! We rented an apartment, the deposit was 2000, yes, it was our fault that we didn’t read the contract carefully, but no one told us about this when we signed it, as I find out now, it says FINE FOR SMOKING 1000, it turns out that they should return 1000 to us, but in the end the girl says the boss is visiting and can’t decide anything now, and I don’t answer, now we’ll go and make a scandal, see if the boss arrives.
