To start with, the location of the establishment is not really ideal. If you travel by car, it won’t be a huge discomfort, but it’s a 5 minute drive from the city center, which can get tiring if you have to rely on public transport, since a taxi is the only available option — as cheap as it may be. The building itself is welcoming and stands out in the neighborhood, all for the right reasons. It looks like a well-maintained local mansion and that adds to the charm. There is enough parking in the front to cover the whole booking capacity, while in the backyard there is an outdoor or relaxation area. Inside, everything is tastefully furnished and finished, giving off a classic European feel, with a lot of attention to detail. A few niggles are to be noted when it comes to functionality, as some of the doors and drawers might be harder to operate or could release sounds not befitting a four star establishment — case in point: the bed had an annoying squeak to it every time you would move on it. Another flaw might appear when talking about showers — during our stay, one of them would not drain water fast enough, so it would overflow on the bathroom floor, while the hose broke in another room. Showers aside, bathrooms are well-finished and equipped with every facility available. Our stay could be described as wonderfully comfortable — despite the few flaws — helped by the fact that the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and all the facilities were easily accessible. Would book this again.
