We are nearing the end of 2 weeks visiting Romania and without a doubt this was my favorite.

This was one of the best accommodations in our tour! The hosts are really kind people that want to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
Rooms were very clean, the shower has great pressure.

Outside pool, several chill zones and eating areas, a barbecue and the ofuro style hot tub if you go in the winter.

We stayed for two nights during the Easter holiday. The room was very clean and comfortable. The most important thing that makes this hotel a success is the staff.

The only reason I am taking a star off is the breakfast buffet. It lacks in variety, probably because the space is limited. The quality of the food was good though.

The host was very friendly, the rooms were very clean. The furniture was a little old, but very clean and very good preserved. The beds were also very comfortable, big rooms with large windows.

Great place for a night or two. The owner and staff were very friendly and accomodating. The place is close to the city center, the Citadel, a nice park and the train station.

Very nice mountain cabin, pretty close to the Translapina ski resort, with lots of space for dinning and games.

We once again were guests at cabana Groapa Seaca and, as usual, felt so welcome. Cosy, nice atmosphere, very welcoming hosts — all in all we felt at home, here. Kitchen clean and well equipped.

Probably the best place in Hateg for relaxation, situated in a very quiet area, with ample space.
The yard and orchard are picture-perfect, so are the views toward the Retezat mountains.

Beautiful place. I especially recommend it if you are traveling with children (they have trampolines, a small playground and hammocks) Amazing view of the mountains!

Best restaurant with food qualitywe have not experienced although 7 days traveling through Romania already.

Hanul Huniazilor is a charming place with delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. The dishes are well prepared, flavorful, and nicely presented, and the portions are generous.

We stayed one night in April 2025. The room was great: very clean, spacious, comfortable bed. We also had dinner: food was delicious and great service.

We went there to have lunch. The personnel is kind. I had gluten-free food — chicken breast with a salad and drank lemonade.

The hotel left a generally positive impression. It’s situated in a picturesque location, offering beautiful views that make your stay feel special.

The rooms are spacious and the location is near Corvin castle and natural beauty. The staff is extremely helpful and worth having by your side especially if you're a foreigner.

Very good value for money. The afternoon receptionist spoke little English but we managed to communicate. Spacious, clean rooms (they gave me a free upgrade to a better room without me asking…).

When we came into town we saw a tired industrial area. We had low expectations for the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. It is a refurbished communist era hotel.

I was a bit apprehensive getting a hostel, especially one on the edge of town but I was pleasantly surprised.

Very large and very very clean room. The staff very friendly. I will definitely stop and sleep here again. Do not judge a book by it's cover. Pop in and you will be amazed by the spotless room.
