Ok but definitely not 4 stars Nice old building that unfortunately suffers from mediocre maintenance. One of the two rooms had reminiscent smoke smell from the days the room was smoking. Parking is miniscule just in front of the hotel — can barely acomodate 10 cars. A big 30min mess to get your car parked. The hotel keeps his nice restaurant for the evenings — breakfast is served in the adjacent cheaper Astoria hotel where all is left to desire (expensive, dirty, empty self service trays that when you ask to be refilled they say to you croissants are over when 5min later the same person brings coffee and croissants to his reception colleague). Overall quite disappointed, helpfully the hotel gets bought by a big luxury chain that can truly provide 4 stars service.

Too bad customer service, there was no parking so I had to leave it opposite to the hotel, I asked if that's a safe place and they didn't look very sure, also I asked for a place to eat and they didn't have any idea. They gave me a room which wasn't cleaned (bed was undone and there were towels and rubbish on the floor) so I had to ask for another one but they were saying to each other at the reception that the room wasn't "properly cleaned" but the problem was that it wasn't clean at all. They could at least apologise. The room wasn't too good, a few lights weren't working, the shower tap was too difficult to regulate the temperature, the handle for the front door was half broken and the key for the lights was also half broken. I expected a bit more for a 170 lei room no breakfast no nothing.

Nice location, quite and comfortable room with a good breakfast and helpful personnel.

A very old, historical and beautiful building, but unfortunately with a badly interior design recreated, trying to imitate the old days. The carpets and the walls were really old too and dirty. It's not worth paying the money for a room there. An Airbnb is a way much better solution to enjoy the city.

Has been probably a great 4* hotel in Iasi in the past but is aged and in need of a facelift and staff motivation renewal. Minimum service available. Otherwise quite, convenient and clean.

Short stay, beautiful building right in the center. Quiet rooms but can get a bit noisy on the rooms close to the road.

The hotel is totally inaccessible for people with disabilities, especially wheelchair users. The ramp at the entrance is very steep. There is an elevator inside which ensures access to rooms, which works in a very strange way. Rooms, although it is appreciable the old style, are not very clean. It was a lot of dust on the wardrobe and lamps. The receptionist was quite rude.

Cozy, historic downtown.

Everything is gorgeous, place, rooms, service, parking, internet! Breakfast for 4 stars is weak and in another hotel, and so everything is great!

A cosy place and good treatment. I recommend for staying in Iasi.

Clean, comfortable room. Restaurant serves good selection of meals. Good Wi-Fi. Good value for money. 'London Bar' attached is friendly and worth a visit. Single complaint — the trams are very noisy from rather early in the morning on that side of the hotel.

A beautiful hotel that will take your breath away! Staff was great at dealing with all the issues we had. The bathtoom sink was not draining and they set a plumber to repair it. They were willing to change our room, but it was too late at night and we chose to stay. The location is great, all major points of interest are within walking distance. Parking right in front of the Hotel. Breakfast was really good and we had a lot of choices!

Hotel and services are good. Stuff looks tired. Hotel halls look realy scary in the dark. 60 eur per night. Worth it.

Old-fashioned building, staff not recalled, prices in the restaurant from the ceiling for tomato salad with cucumbers-25 lei, it's a grbeg, I do not advise to use the services of the restaurant;

Nice historical hotel with an excellent location. A bit worn off with strange smell from the air conditioning system. But other than that an excellent place for a short stay in Iaşi.

Small and inconvenient room as a single free plug, difficult to load several devices.

The hotel is definitely suggestive and located in the center, close to all the main points of interest of the city.
Moreover, it is very flashy (conceived by Eiffel…), but it lacks substance. Examples; Tablecloths embroidered in the restaurant, but paper napkins. Still? In The room there is the bathrobe, but with the holes; Ditto for the velvet curtains…

Discreet Hotel, I live on past glories. The definition of Grand Hotel is only nominal. Discreet in the cleanliness, in the furnishings.

Excellent hotel. The rooms are beautiful, large and clean. The hotel has a breakfast spectacular, with lots of variety and good quality products. The hotel has a restaurant with lots of variety and typical dishes.

O clădire istorică impresionantă cu o ambianță deosebită. Îmi voi aminti multă vreme acest hotel, unul cu toate stelele meritate! Parcare auto disponibilă și peste drum.

Foarte misto hotelul. Ne-am simtit bine.

Very nice hotel built by project of Gustav Eiffel. Original design and furniture. Excellent service. Price as well. Breakfast could be better.

Rooms where ok but run down its in the center.

Great location and good services.

Try not to get a room facing the main street, tramways wake you up in the morning. Other than that the rooms are nice.

Very good reception, service impeccable, room very nice and spacious.
