Lack of professionalism. Do not recommend.

Food poisoning and rude management My girlfriend had her birthday at La Castel, and we were very excited for the event since this is such a beautiful place, but unfortunately we had a terrible experience.
We were a group of 14, and 4 people got sick from the food, the dirty tableware or glassware. Even my beer glass was very dirty but unfortunately I noticed this only after I finished it.
A couple of hours after leaving the place, both my parents, a cousin and my girlfriend got really sick (diarrhea and vomiting), but only my girlfriend ended up in the hospital. I immediately called La Castel to notify the incident so nobody else gets sick from those dishes and after some time a manager called back. She was very friendly on the phone and she invited us to their office to discuss the issue.
All the nice attitude was gone when we got to the general managers office and met the most ignorant, self centered person. He never stopped talking about his amazing restaurant where a lot of important people eat, and didn't care one second about our situation.
His atitudine was very inappropriate, suggesting that we should thank him for discovering a possible allergy. But for sure it wasn't the case. Everyone at the table had eaten those dishes before. And anyway, we didn't visit the restaurant for an allergy test, so what's with this statement?

Gorgeous place, gorgeous atmosphere. The perfect setting to relax and enjoy a perfect evening with as many friends as you want. Everyone loves the recent events they've been having. Highly recommend!

The yard is beautiful and you can eat over there.

If you are in Iasi you should visit La Castel for a lunch or dinner. With tables inside restaurants or outside in the garden La Castel is ready to offer you a pleasant experience. If the kids are with you then be sure that they will enjoy as well. In the garden is a nice playground with slides, climbing wall, bouncing trampoline and more.

Although it is almost outside of city it is one of the few places this big and still decent. It also features garden and a tent ball room.

I heard so may things about this restaurant before going there, but the catering was not as expected, I felt sick after eating there the whole evening. Plus, the building looks like a cheap replica, trying to imitate a castle, but far from reality. Also, it is far away from the city center too.

The place seems as taken out of a Disney picture and combined with a traditional feeling in harmony. — everything looks good and very spacious — the service, however, is despicable. Truly one of the worst experiences I've had: late, sloppy, rude, they forgot things we ordered. definitely not going back.

A very good sheep sirloin with garlic sauce and polenta. On summer looks better than in winter.

Excelent restaurant and hotel facilities. The new year's Eve and the carnaval next day was excellent! Recommended for anyone.

Very nice place. A little expensive comparing to the other places in the city, but the view is wonderful. Food is not the greatest, but is good.

We had a two day work meeting at La Castel. We had lunch and dinner twice. The room did not had very good Wi-Fi for the meeting but was solved by providing another Hotspot. The lunch was decent. The first day we had lot of small food for dinner. This contained some good foods. The diner the next day was in the restaurant. That was very good and loved it. The service was good, they checked often if we were in need for more drinks.

Romanian traditional food is very good, staff v friendly.

It is a special place where you can eat great food, there is a large variety of dishes you can choose from and every plate is well cooked and seasoned. I recommend the pizza with chicken and vegetables and the sweet dishes.

Moderate prices for great food is great. Being located in a forest it is perfect for a summer lunch or dinner in the outdoor restaurant.

Food is great. Prices are moderate. You can have lunch/dinner in the very nice decorated garden (summer time). Waiting time is arround 20-30 minutes. I recommend booking a table in advance.

One of the best hotels in Iasi with a lot of green space around and good restaurants. It can be a bit noisy during the summer since there are a lot of ceremonies in the restaurants (it can be up to 4-5 events per evening/night).

Feels great to eat under a big tree. Too bad it's usually crowded and kids are not kept in their special designed place, which makes it a rather loud place to eat & relax.

Not the best experience with the food. Was here on several occasions and they always messed up my food (under cooked or overcooked). The food was good when I attended events here. Some of my friends also complained about the food but others had a great time.

I can easily say that this is the best restaurant in Iasi. It's perfect for summer lunches and dinners, and a great spot for events. The food is quite pricy but the taste makes up for it.
