I had an excellent experience at casa Stefan. This hotel was definitely affordable and reliable. It is close to all the cool things there are to see in Galați, even though Galați doesn’t have too much to do or visit. Anyways, we rented out three rooms for the night and all were very clean and ready to use. They also had fans in the room which was very handy and nice. There is an outside eating area and the lobby’s have fridges for you to store any beverages that you may have. I would definitely go here again if I was passing through.

Location is excellent, it’s right next to the central market, and two blocks away from the main street. It’s 10 minutes away on foot from the Danube river, where you can find great fish restaurants. The room is very big, everything is new and clean, bathroom is great and shower is very large, it has A/C, large bed, has tables and chairs in a courtyard to eat, drink and watch the large screen TV. Has free Wi-Fi that has strong signal. The owners are great, flexible and very helpful. They also have two full size refrigerators if you want to buy food at the market. I would definitely highly recommend the place for anyone that wants to stay in Galati. This place exceeded my expectations. Great place and great value for your money!
