A very happy discovery. Cozy small family run hotel, extremely friendly. Great rooms and good food. Also ideally located 100 meters from the beach, very reasonably priced considering the high season and many hotels are full. Very quiet at night and comfortable bedding. Will definitely come back on my next trip to Romania.
We had a wonderful stay at Bunga Bunga in Mamaia! It’s a very nice, family-friendly location that made our vacation relaxing and enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for families with children or anyone looking to unwind near the sea.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The food was great. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to offer recommendations or assist with any requests. The property is located in a quiet yet convenient area—just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and shops, but away from the noise of the main promenade.

I paid about €113 per night, which is extremely overpriced for the room we got. There was no hair dryer, the bedsheets felt rough like sandpaper, and the pillows were practically non-existent. I regret booking two nights — we even had to switch rooms the second night, and the owners insisted on reusing the same bedsheets from the first night!
The only positive was the relaxed restaurant area, but overall, I would skip this place.
