Superb location, impeccable service, quiet location.

There was not only 1 problem about this place… even being local I didn't know how bad it it… I mean I've been there couple of times and it seems to be nice and the food was good. Couple days ago I been there with my girlfriend and we tried some of our traditional food and some fancy drinks. The drinks we ordered tasted like sugar and water + grenadine (like a diabetes bomb) and the most non-traditional "traditional" food I've ever had anywhere in Romania… it was TOCHITURA (if you search it will say with home made sausages and pork meat) well this one was with the cheapest sausages from market and the most disguisting pork meat I ever had, is not hard to go and buy conservated TOCHITURA from poor people who will sell you for a decent price or make it yourself because is so easy… the dissapoiment level was huge… the other food order for my gf was Cow Belly Stew (Ciorba de burta) omg can't even describe how thick the layer of oil on top of the soup was my friends hahah it was funny and scarry at the same time… I made a complain about everything and I was expecting to take of at least only the TOCHITURA but instead they asked if I want a coffee or a desert (sounded like they asked if I want to order more) I said no and I ended paying for everything that was how it was… Maybe you will have a good experience there but I honestly will never step my foot in there anymore… sorry. Had a great dinner, good experience, awesome food and wine. Place is great and the staff was lovely.

Busy on weekends so expect to wait for a while until food is ready but it's worth it. All very fresh and nicely done. Portions good size as well.

You'll want to spend some time here, for sure: good food and drinks, good quality of the services, very nice rooms! Later edit: five stars, no doubt! Warm people, very good services, great tasteful food, strong tzuica (sic! ) and a powerful (sic! again) red wine!

Fantastic and different menu, the combination of flavors are yummy. I recommend baked potatoes with cheese, scatters with baked holandesa sauce and meat and soups.

Unexpectedly Good. We were impressed by the good layout in the room, and how clean it was. Good size bathroom and shower, also clean and with good water pressure and toiletries. Mattress is on the hard/firm side (would love a medium). Our room was on the street side which is noisier but it did not bother us to much. It had a good view of the hills. The only fault for which we did not give the fifth star is the strong perfume (likely the floor cleaning product) when we enter the room. But with the air-conditioning on and two open windows, it was less within a few hours. Staff was friendly and we got a small discount at the end for we did not knew that: a "matrimonial" is actually a Twin Room and a "single" is a Queen/Double. Highly recommend if you are looking for a stay in the area.
