I found here cozy and spacious rooms, a comfortable bed and colorful sofas. The staff is friendly and have a flexible attitude, ready to create a nice atmosphere for their guests. The food was tasty and more than enough. Yet, the next time I`ll come visit hope the oven will be ready to serve local bread. :) )
As for the things to do around the area, the hotel is close to Vidraru dam which has amazing views and there`s a 3 hours hike to reach Poenari castle, a historical place — but be aware that there are 1480 stairs you need to climb down not only up. :)
I would definitely come back here again. The hotel rooms are super clean, everything is new and the food was amazing. Must try “papanasi”♥️.
