Amplasare superba chiar pe plaja, ospatari amabili si profesionisti, iar mancarea delicioasa. Atentie la preturile care sunt afisate pentru 100g Later edit: desi prima experienta a foat una buna (in timpul zilei cand nu era f aglomerat) a doua oara am dat de un ospatar plin de sictir. Dupa ce am asteptat peste 10min meniurile, cand in final a venit sa ne ia comanda ne-a spus ca nu are unul dintre felurile pe care voiam sa le comandam. Bineinteles ca am avut un mic moment de ezitare dar in loc sa ne recomande altceva acesta a plecat de la masa noastra fara sa zica absolut nimic si s-a dus sa ia comanda la o alta masa. A revenit ulterior dupa inca 10minute sa ne ia comanda din nou. Bauturile au venit cu intarziere, la fel si mancarea. (4 stele pt amplasare si gustul mancarii) — 1 pt servire.

Lovely atmosphere, great service and really good food. The tables outside are on the beach. Food portions quite big. Definitely recommending this place for a nice night out.

The food is good but it takes a while for them to serve it to you.

Everything was fine until the waiter brought the check. Besides other dishes, we ordered 400g of grilled shark — the portion had almost 200g more, but the waiter told us after we asked for the check. We were bothered by the fact that there were three pieces of meat on that plate — definitely by taking out the smallest of them, they could have come closer to 400g, but they wanted / needed those extra money. Another aspect is that we weren't asked before the dish was brought to our table — maybe we could have ordered something else. Our first visit was a disappointing experience!

Wonderful place. Just two steps from the sea, so it is a perfect place to have a good lunch or dinner. Average to high prices, but totally worth it!

Nice restaurant specialized on sea food products. Very good home made deserts as Dobrogean pie and many others. Situated exactly on the beach make this restaurant to offer you a nice view and relaxing atmosphere. The crew is polite and creates an romantic area. Good place to visit, eat and relax located on the beach of Black Sea.

Popasul Pescarilor is one of our favorite restaurants both in Romania and in the world at large. On an interview with Charlie Rose, the great chef Alain Ducasse (who has 3 Michelin stars, the max) was asked what his favorite food is. He cited a small fish restaurant in the south of France where they buy the freshest "poisson rouge" (literally "red fish") directly from the fisherman who bring in their catch in front of the restaurant. He said they grill they fish, apply salt and lemon only and this is his favorite meal. Popasul Pescarilor is the Romanian equivalent of this, right on the beach of the Black Sea. I have never had a piece of fish, mussels or conch here which was anything but perfectly fresh and delicious. And the setting is as beautiful as the food, where you eat with the sound of the crashing waves under a rustic roof of reeds. It is as close to perfection as a place can get.
