Hotel Emi Hotel

This hotel looks really good and I liked it on first arrival. The room was nice and clean and the proximity to the airport is ideal. But then I used the toilet and the back pipe came off and spewed sewage over the floor. I reported it to reception but it was late and understandably couldn't do much (all rooms were taken). I ended up cleaning it up myself as we needed to use the shower after a long flight. In the morning we spoke again to reception and had an awful experience. The staff spoke reasonable English and said they understood what happened, but instead of offering apologies they kept saying it 'wasn't their problem' and laughing. It seems that paying £61 isn't enough for staff to care about customer service. We eventually spoke to the manager who did apologise but said that three different staff had said it was the toilet button, given that the word button hadn't been mentioned once it was just an excuse for the terrible service up till that point. It's an ideally situated hotel, perfect for airport travellers — as long as nothing happens that isn't their problem.

We arrived at Hotel EMI after a late flight from the airport, it was looking nice at first. We went to our room and relaxed. Next thing we knew a pipe had fallen off the back of the toilet. The bathroom was flooded with sewage. We informed reception straight away but there was no spare rooms or anyone to help us. The next morning the hotel receptionist was not interested but sent a cleaner to check out the problem whilst we had breakfast which we had been told was included in the price of the room. We returned from breakfast to be told that only things costing up to 34lei were included and that we had to pay extra as we ate eggs which were more expensive. This on top of a unusable bathroom was not pleasant. After a unpleasant discussion with the receptionist we asked to speak to the owner. The owner blamed us for the errors, but then gave in on the breakfast bill. Still we were not too pleased about having too pay £60+ for a room with a useless bathroom. To sum up we had a poor experience and when we spoke to hotel stuff we were treated in a discourteous manner.

Phenomenal. Best place to eat in all of MK. The quality is unbelievable, the prices are low, and best of all, Ioana is the most helpful server in the world.

Decent food. The staff could be more attentive. Affordable.

Very nice 3 star hotel. I rarely rate 5 stars, but they check everything on my list. Great restaurant, clean rooms, very reasonable prices!
