SEP Hotel in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is SEP Hotel located, and what is nearby?

The hotel is located in the city center, making it convenient for transit travelers due to its close proximity to the highway exit. Grocery stores are situated near the hotel. However, please note that walking around the immediate area may not be ideal, and the city center can be reached by car in about 10 minutes.

Does the hotel have parking facilities?

Yes, SEP Hotel provides parking facilities. Guests can park their vehicles both in the hotel's inner courtyard and on the street.

How does the front desk operate, and how polite is the staff?

The staff is generally described as very friendly, helpful, and polite, with many guests giving them top ratings. The hotel offers flexibility; some visitors note the option for late check-in (even at 2-3 AM) and understanding from the owner. However, some negative experiences have been reported: one guest encountered a locked door at 1:00 AM despite calling in advance, while others mentioned staff rudeness during breakfast and a general lack of tact from the owner.

What kind of breakfast and dining options does the hotel offer?

The hotel features an on-site restaurant open until late evening. The cuisine is generally well-received, with guests describing the food as delicious and reasonably priced, although one guest noted an overly sour soup and another mentioned an overcooked cutlet. Breakfast feedback is mixed: some guests find it good, while others complain about a limited selection (an egg, sausage, a few vegetable slices), long wait times (up to 40 minutes), and an additional charge for coffee.

Does the hotel offer early check-in or late check-out?

Yes, the hotel can accommodate guests in such situations. Guest reviews mention an instance where a guest was allowed to check in immediately at 3:00 AM and stay in the room until the evening after a long journey.

How is the soundproofing in the rooms, and is street noise audible?

Soundproofing at the hotel receives mixed reviews. Guests in lower-floor rooms report quiet conditions, whereas those staying in the attic rooms complain of significant street noise. Passing trucks cause the furniture and beds to literally vibrate, making a good rest virtually impossible.

How comfortable are the beds, and what is the condition of the room furniture?

Opinions on the beds are divided: some guests praise the soft mattresses, while others find them excessively soft or uneven. The rooms are described as spacious with classic furniture. However, there are complaints about wear and tear, including plastic bathroom doors, a rusty shower cabin, and dirty mirrors. Fitted carpeting is also noted in some rooms.

How well do the air conditioning and heating systems work?

The rooms are equipped with air conditioning units that guests report working very well. It is also noted that the heating operated properly even during the spring.

What amenities are provided in the rooms, and are in-room safes available?

Rooms feature mini-refrigerators and air conditioning, as well as ample wardrobe storage space. However, guests note that safes are not provided in the rooms.

Is the hotel pet-friendly?

Very disappointing stay. The hotel was in very poor condition and did not match the expectations. Our room was dirty and it looked like it had not been cleaned properly before we arrived. There was also no elevator, which made carrying our luggage very difficult.
To make matters worse, there was confusion with our room assignment, and we had to wait while the staff sorted everything out. The overall organization was poor, and the experience was stressful from the beginning.
I would not recommend this hotel. It needs much better cleanliness, organization, and customer service.
