21 High Street Residence By The Torch

Today I was a guest here with my kids. But I never saw in Doha that unfriendly staff.
Receptionist 2 times asked if I am sure that I came in the right location. When I gave the receptionist number for the valet, he was talking on the phone for 10 minutes, then he gave my card to the valet. Then they saw I was with 2 small kids and no one helped me open the door to my car or anything at all. I have 2 bags and they just go back to the chair and watch. Honestly o never understand why ppl like this. I am a regular guest in other hotels with my family, but for the first time I have that bad feling. Just want to say one thing… stop judging ppl by them.

Very disappointing experience I came for a nail service appointment, but my client accidentally sent the wrong hotel name because she was at 21 High Street Residence when booking, so her current location was shared instead of the actual hotel. We explained this clearly at reception, but instead of basic understanding, we were met with a dismissive and unprofessional attitude. We were already lost and trying to fix a mistake that was not ours, and the way the situation was handled only made it worse. For a place that presents itself as high-end, I expected far better customer service and basic courtesy.

I recently completed a wonderful six-night stay at 21 High Street Residence By The Torch, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The location is absolutely excellent—being right in Katara means you are steps away from everything the cultural village has to offer.
A special mention must go to Qais at the front desk. He was incredibly professional, helpful, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. His hospitality truly elevated the experience. The residence itself is beautiful and provided a perfect home base for my trip. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Doha.

Room was spacious and nice, and located right by Katara Cultural Village. Some things that were unexpected from a 5 star accomodation:
1) Housekeeping did not replenish bathroom amenities during house keeping.
2) Setting for chromecast to TV kept asking to reconfirm every 5 mins if we are still watching, else it will disconnect in 60 secs.
3) Bathroom was huge but lacked thought — there wasn't any countertop or shelf space planned for placing toiletries items within reach.

Breakfast had a good choice, and the service was attentive. Dinner was also good and offered great value for money. "

My partner and I had the most relaxing and romantic weekend here. The ambiance was peaceful, the room was elegantly designed, and the staff made everything feel special. We loved the spa and evening cocktails on the terrace. Can’t wait to return!

Our kids loved the pool and the family room was spacious and clean. The hotel offered great suggestions for nearby attractions, and the breakfast had options for everyone—even picky eaters! A great base for a family holiday.

The hospitality was world-class, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that every need was met with a smile. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Qatar.
The location was close to the cultural village of Katara, which is known for its stunning architecture and beautiful beaches. This was definitely a huge bonus as we were walking distance from such a prime location. (We didn’t even know when we booked it)
£300 per night may sound slightly steep, but it was worth every penny. The whole experience was amazing.

The worst experience in ( (Terrace by 21 high st) ), after confirming the reservation I waited for 2 hours (4pm-6pm) When I arrived, I was surprised that the employee had forgotten to confirm the reservation! Supervisor& stuff didn’t respect our time&us, (Highly not Recommended)

We had nice stay at the hotel this weekend. Even though the toilet was weird designed and need of maintenance especially the shower has very weak pressure. The toilet floor and washbasins need reconstruction. Also the furniture of the living room needs sterilization specially the couch.
