Very accommodating staff and the place is not very luxurious but you will feel very comfortable and peaceful yet enjoyable. We tried the day pass with access to pool and beach with dinner buffet at an affordable price. Clean and safe. The food is very nice, tasty and enjoyable! We enjoyed a lot every time we visit this place! We always come back to this resort! Money spent is worth it.

If you're going to stay here get the ocean view suite great experience overall the shisha on the beach was great I went with the lemon mint.

We had amazing beautiful, memorable expereice… cheap and best… only drawback is they give water very very expensive… event buffet dosent have water… u have to purchase… they charge 14 riyal for 2 liter bottel… which cost 2 riyals in supermarket… kindly carry ur own water for the trip.

Best place for weekends! It was lovely experience. My daughter was so happy to be there. She enjoyed full time in big swimming pool. We got natural feel as they have private access to beach. You can have morning breakfast at hotel or room or at swimming pool. The service was good. Staff were so friendly and corporative. Vegetarian option was so limited. I can say not at all. Because I order for vegetable pasta and it was also not available at that time. So we decided to have dinner outside. There is good range of food outlets available 15 to 20 minutes’ drive from the Hotel. I’m am sure, if they increase their food range in menu. You will not leave the hotel at all.

Wonderful place, we enjoyed a lot. The rooms were designer and had great fun in the pool.

We celebrated our Hotel 5th anniversary along with all the team members and management. Amazing experience for the pool access and the lunch buffet was superb!. Front Office Lyra was very hospitable and Mr. Ronaldo from conceirge were great to give us a quick show around as well. Our long hours drive was worth it. Traveling with groups made it more fun!

Sweet. Good visit. A little boring but my husband enjoyed shisha there so it was ok for me. There is the beach view wich is amazing.

Visited the place for a short coffee break and shisha, amazed how relaxing is the place. Highly recommend to visit in Al Khor.

It has a decent pool, but no nice beach. The restaurant is okay, too. Overall it doesn't feel like a luxury experience.

The place and facilities were wonderful. The room service kept us waiting for 4 hours on both days we were there though. Perhaps because we went during Eid break.

We were there at 2pm, we got our rooms at 6pm. We were asked to wait in the building where our allotted rooms were and to our surprise, there were no houskeeping staff there. We asked around and they told us that the assigned cleaners were on break.
During reservation, we asked the 2 rooms to be blocked beside each other and I confirmed that 2x prior to arrival.
Upon check in, we were blocked in rooms in different floors. We then demanded that we need rooms in 1 floor and be…side each other cz the other room is for the kids. The supervisor or the manager in the front desk was so unaccommodating and saying if we don't like the room then leave it.
Estoo (S2) by the sound of it, she's the filipina from reservations was most helpful. She reblocked our rooms to be beside each other, she also physically assisted housekeeping to clean up our room. Breakfast was not good as well. No labels, not much options.

Just had an overnight stay with dear friends, wanting to unwind from a long and hectic work week. Just the right place for some needed peace and quiet. The view from our room window was spectacular at day time. Sitting by the chairs near the swimming pools at night watching the beautiful city lights across the sea evokes some feelings of serenity and romance. We chose the ala carte for dinner and while there was variety of choices, we thought the food could need some improvement. Same for breakfast. Lovely place too. Will surely go back.

The lunch was very cold at the buffett, there was no fill even though I have been told that it will be refilled soon, there is no water in the showers at the beach, the room was empty from the water, tea and tea cups, even though I have called the reception 3 times to bring it, but we had to go to the restaurant to drink tea, we have been informed that there are 3 restaurants even in their website, but we found out its 1 restaurant and one coffee shop for sheesha and some lite sandwiches, and it was confirmed to us from the staff at the restaurant.

Place is not maintained. The washrooms stink, no ventilation. Few slides by the pool and those too with handles about to break. Showers by the beach have good design but they are dirty. Moulds are visible.

I went to Al SUltan Beach with my family friends. We had a lot of fun. Its a great resort to spend ur time. Try it.

To start off let me just say I am a frequent traveler around the world, and by far this is the WORST hotel ever. we arrived at 11:00PM and we waited half an hour to check in and get our room, when we entered our room the room was occupied by other guests! so we had to wait until they gave us another room, when we entered our room it was a bit too cold for us so — normally — we reached for the AC controller which we couldn't find it because it was missing, called and requested the controller and it took them half an hour, the room was smelly and dusty. i am shocked that this is a 5-star hotel! how come? WORST experience. rooms are terrible, unfriendly staff.

This is the worst 5 star hotel that I had to stay for one night. It was a total nightmare and I am still confused how they managed to get these stars. I was planning to stay in this hotel for 20 days for my business as it was close to where I was working. Before booking I just checked from internet the picture galleries, and it was fine. The day I checked in, and noticed how small the rooms are, how very low quality starting from floor to WC and all, I wanted to check out directly. After talking with the manager, even though I did not touch anything inside the room, they did not accept my checkout without any fine. So I had to stay here one night, I broke my sleep two times with unbelievably high shouting and noises during the day time. This hotel looks ok from outside but when you are in you just regret how you checked in. The same day, I just found another 4 star hotel Retaj Al Rayyan within Doha city center, the daily rate was one half of what I payed to Al sultan and the quality was 10 times more, with a much more relaxing rooms. I payed 600 Qatar riyals perday to Al Sultan and 350 Qatar riyals to Retaj Al Rayyan. So my advice to anyone, never think of this hotel. These are my sincere observations.
