Great place! … I have house on the island in the upper mountain area. I come often and been around to many places. So much to list why this place gets a 5 star review. The food the staff the grounds especially after hurricane Maria, unbelievable what they did to this place to make it even better than what it was before. Great job and hats off to the owners! Awesome sunsets too!

The Staff are the best! Had a accident in my room with water, the STAFF QUICKLY ACTED! Iwas taken care of, Plus the stay was Awesome anyway, people had a Wonderful time. So did I. I'll be Back!

Great vacation spot. The rooms are comfortable and close to the beach. They also have a very good restautant, pool, game room and gym. The terrace bar is amazing and their specialty drink "pirata especial" is really good. Of course, the sunset is of the house!

Everything was perfect, we loved it. Excellent customer service. They should update the photos on the websites as the hotel was recently renovated and everything is new.

It is not the first time we visited this hotel. The first time the service was excellent. However, on this occasion our experience was bad. If you go to this hotel with the intention of resting and being relaxed, ask for a room away from the bar. The bar is open during weekends until dawn. This time we played a room in front of the bar and the music was playing until dawn and we could not sleep. I can understand that there are people who are going to drink and have a good time, but if the hotel administration knows that the reservation is familiar and with small children, they should supply other rooms away from the bar. I'm going to complain about the situation with the hotel manager and he tells me that the noise is normal and that he can not do anything. The noise of the karaoke continued until dawn and at that same time I returned to the manager and told him that I wanted my money back and that I would leave the next day. They never offered us a change of room or something different. I DO NOT RETURN TO THIS HOTEL EVERYTHING! We ended up at another hotel where the deal was perfect. Thanks to the Courtyard Hotel for saving our vacations.

In the bar area menu The prices are a bit high for little food. The prices are good but sometimes the ingredients escape. The others, perfect! … Very nice!

Villa Cofresi is a must to visit when in Rincon

Newly remodeled, I loved it! Single in Rincon, its family atmosphere, its proximity to the sea, the service, the food, staff, just everything! The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel is close to everything! The best view of the sea and the sunset!

Visit this place even if you're not going to book a room. There's live music in the hotel bar and it's packed. People are dancing, watching sports on T. V. Playing pool, drinking rum out of coconuts, and watching the beach that is literally right in front of the bar. The ocean water is crystal clear, so you can see all the fish. There's also a pool and an arcade room. The decorations are beachy and colorful (good for selfies). This place is so cozy.

Hotel very welcoming and pleasant, the renewal of the bar of the beach remain spectacular, staff very friendly. Only recommend you to make improvements to the beds that are very hard.

Had a great time. A friend " Gabi" played acoustical guitar. The food was very tasty and had nice selection to choose from. I had mahi mahi and shrimp kabobs. Very good. Highly recommend them. The drinks were just as good. The have a specialty. Pirate drink. Made with fresh coconuts, and their coconut water. Opened fresh in front of you the mixed in blender and poured back into the coconut. The bartenders and staff were very kind. Last night was a older cround with mixed in family members. Everyone had a great time. See for yourself. Enjoy!

Place had a good view, food is very good but the service is terrible especially at the bar. Bartenders tend to ignore people and guests. Besides that is a good averall place.

The rooms are okay. The food is good but the hotel shuts downs completely at 12midnight and the “security” is very rude. Either you go to your room or the “security” comes to yell and tell you that you need to go to your room. I came with a big group of 8 families “8 rooms” and we wanted to talk and have a good time and the treatment was not what I had planned. I recommend a different kind of hotel for that. Villa Cofresi is the kind of hotel for older people and people who wants to be asleep at 12midnight.

Beautiful location and nice facilities. Great nightlife on weekends. Unfortunately, that nightlife is too close to the rooms, so… Loud! Food is only OK. Drinks are good and reasonably priced.

Good place for drinks and munchies. Only thing is that they don't have too many parking areas. It's basically all for the tourists.

Service was quick but the food lacked seasoning. Fruit punch drink tasted bland. I complained about the steak and they exchanged my food for something else I liked. I give them 5 stars for customer service.

Great place for dinner, lunch or just bites at the bar. Everyone is great at what they do. Food is excellent and service is spectacular, of course, the view is breathtaking!

Only visited the bar of the swimming pool. Definitely improved after the passage of Hurricane Maria. It was the edge of the beach. The waves came in further. Did remodeling, you can see the improvements. It has improved a lot after my last visit several months ago. In good time.

The best view of the sunset you can probably see. Great service and friendly staff. It's definitely an A+ place to stay or just to come to visit it's outstanding deck bar, front in front of the ocean.

Amazing views. You must have the Pirates Special. Solid spot for drinks, ping pong, billards, and a killer jukebox.

One of the legendary places in Rincón. Consistently good food, excellent service and totally Puertorriquen style. Not the Hilton or the Hyatt but delightful in its local style. Highly recommended.

I loved the place. Very cozy. The customer service is excellent. A familiar and fun atmosphere. Should improve aslgunos ingredients in meals should be of better quality but the diversity of food is very good.

The Hotel Villa Cofresi was founded in May of 1965 and since then, being the first hotel of Ricon, has been dedicated to provide excellence, attention, quality to all who have had the Privelgio to visit it. Staying for a weekend here is not expensive and it is a place worthy of the enjoyment of great and small. Come and see the most beautiful sunsets of Puerto Rico at the most westerly point of our blessed Island.
I guarantee you will return …

Very nice Hotel, clean, very friendly people but the room I got the terrible smell of bad humidity for me as I look like allergies, I'm on vacation from Orlando Florida.

Good so far. I asked for a up graded room with ocean view — and they took care of us. Thank you!

It's location is excellent. Not practical for peaceful or quiet stay. Too much activity at the bar court area. Excellent if you are looking for a room facing an active bar with live music performances and meeting many locals who are not staying at the venue. Not my cup of tea!

Lovely place and good service … in the evenings the terrace is lit and has a great fun. On weekends they have dance music.

Excelent staff. Amazing drinks. Great food. Sunsets are amazing. Water sports near the hotel. Great for family or couples!

Overall had a great time, great price. Where I stayed needs better beds. Loved the fact we had access to all facilities. Great music poolside.
