The location, the choice and variety of rooms, the friendliness, generosity and helpfulness of Antonio and Linos, the absolutely fantastic daily breakfast spread. I still dream about the food. You feel like you’re at home at Marina Lounge Hotel! I’ve been twice and will come again!

Antonio and Lino are adorable, good advice, little attentions that fly, and they cook masterfully!

The attention of Antonio and Lino is so close and friendly that they make you feel at home, everything you want from a holiday they will offer you. A cozy place, a good breakfast, room and bathroom clean and cozy, and best of all is the time they invest when you ask them for a route to follow or what to visit on the island. Perfect recommendations of sites, beaches, restaurants…
I will RETURN to this wonderful island and to this wonderful accommodation.

Wonderful little hostel. Excellently equipped. In addition to a personal reception, the hosts give tips for sightseeing and organisation. Breakfast is completely handmade and baked. Fantastic! You feel very at home here.

Our best-ever experience in accommodation & hospitality — this is the perfect place to stay & feel like home in the Azores! Delicious, home-made breakfast every morning, cosy & welcoming space furnished with a good sense of style and design, great tips and recommendations to make the best out of our stay there (and it's not always easy, because the weather can simply change your plans from one day to another). Antonio & Lino are the greatest, most helpful and funny hosts we have ever met, it will be extremely difficult to outshine them! :) Thanks a lot for everything!

I met António almost 9 years ago when he worked as a cook in a hostel in Lisbon. We kept in touch and when I decided to spent a short holiday in Ponta Delgada I had no doubt: I immediately reserved a room in Marina Lounge Hostel. Beside to be the Marina’s Lounge co-host António continues to be a wonderful cook: the breakfast at Marina is delicious!
The hostel is very well located in the city center, we left our car in a free parking very close to the hostel and visited the city on foot. The common spaces (living room, kitchen and bathroom) are really nice, super clean and warm. We immediately felt like at home. António and Lino indeed are so lovely people! They helped us to reserve a table in one of the most typical restaurant in the Island; they suggested us the places to visit and, above all, they gave us some advices to explore the island like two locals!
Our room was big, the bed was comfortable and with a very nice terrace where we could relax and see the sunset after a day spent visiting the island.
In conclusion: If you are planning to visit São Miguel and stay in a very cozy hostel with relaxed atmosphere and nice and friendly owners, this is the right place!

It was the first time for us in Açores. We spent less than a week but Couldn’t find another place in Azores to spend our holidays to. Very beautiful, peaceful, friendly, clean and tidy place to call home! The rooms are simply amazing, toilet smelling nice all the times, super rich delicious breakfast home made by Lino and Antonio every morning. I think all you deserve is a break in Açores in Marina Lounge Hostel in Ponta Delgada… nothing more! But let’s talk about Antonio and Lino. I can confirm what I’m sure the other guests already said: they are Fabulous!
Happy and smiling hosts, available anytime to explain which place is better to visit, based on the weather in that day rather then others and recommending the best restaurants where to eat, helping with reservations! One of the best places I've ever stayed. The Marina Lounge Hostel was my first stop on an 18 day trip around Portugal and it was hard for all the other places to live up to! Antonio & Lino were the best hosts one could ask for. I felt like a friend welcomed into their home. From arriving on the first evening, and sitting down with Antonio who gave me a wealth of information, recommending a place for dinner (I'm vegan so it can be a challenge in Portugal! ), arranging for a guide for me for a couple of days, booking my whale watching trip, introducing me to a fellow guest for another day trip, and making sure I had lovely vegan food for breakfast each day! Both Antonio and Lino made sure everyone was happy and taken care of and also very well fed at breakfast! If you're going to Ponta Delgado you must stay here! Antonio & Lino, thank you so so much for a wonderful stay! I hope to be back one day!

You can't have any better in Sao Miguel.
Its an amazing place, very comfortable.
The owners are very nice and they help you with everything.
Show you the best places to have lunch or have diner or drink tea also the best hikes or viewpoints.
They always have a plan B when it's a rainy day.
The place is very clean and it smells like fresh baked chocolate-cake in the evening.
The breakfast are delicious!
We come back for sure!

Better than I could have imagined, all because of the hard work of the two hostel owners. This place really was a home away from home that added to our enjoyable experience in the Azores.

What can I say: very kind en helpfull hosts who give a lot of information about the beautifull island. The rooms, sanitary and kitchen are clean, they have good beds (for tall guys like me) and breakfast is included! I would absolutely recommend it. Really enjoyed my stay here.
