Sabrosa Hotels

We were hiking the Douro Valley. The hotel sits in the middle of a vineyard and the view is fabulous. The pool is large and picturesque. The rooms were quite large. We had a king sized bed.

We recently had the good luck of finding this absolutely gorgeous place. The staff was amazing amd we ate at the restaurant which was a truly great experience.

What a marvelous place to stay!
Located in the center of lovely Provesende the owner and the staff provide everything you need.

Will start with the positive:
Fantastic location above the Douro Valley. The Manor House is located in a vineyard but the wines are made elsewhere. Only a small number of rooms so reserve early.

Rita was absolutely incredible—the best wine-tasting guide ever. She provided an excellent experience and I’d recommend this tasting to everyone because of her. She deserves a raise!

Rita was an exceptional, knowledgeable, and welcoming guide to our wine tasting. I can’t fathom why she is not promoted as an exemplar of this establishment and historic wine region.

If there is a room available while visiting Douro Valley, Book it! This has been one of my favorite stays. The views are breathtaking, the service is exceptional and it was a great place to unwind.

We had such a wonderful stay! The owners were incredibly kind and communicative, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.

Truly one of the most exceptional places I’ve stayed at. It’s a quick taxi ride from Pinhão train station in a small, quaint town called Sabrosa.

We enjoyed our time at this Quinta — it is beautifully located & peaceful. The area inside is lovely too. However, there were a few things that disappointed us.
— lack of mini fridges in rooms.

My boyfriend and I were staying at a local B&B in town and drove less than 10 minutes to this Quinta. We drove up and the hostess was waiting at the door. We had no reservation or call ahead.

Absolutely wonderful tasting of wines and ports crafted in a small family winery! Anna was an amazing host! We highly recommend!

A super small guest house in an old traditional village, great location and views with very nice hosts. Dinner available if you wish it too! Highly recommended.

We had two wonderful nights in this very unique place, more an experience than just a bed and breakfast.

This is strictly for wine tasting. It was great! Marta was no knowledgeable and taught me so much about the process. She answered all of my questions and encouraged them. Wines were lovely.

We really enjoyed our experience at Quinta la Rosa. We booked a private tour and tasting for 4 people and had a great time. The team was super friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable.

It's a nice, small hotel, the decoration is modern and the room was very clean. A little bit outside the village, you can look from your window at the center.

I visited this Quinta during the olive and wine festival for the past four years, beautiful views over Provesende and the silences of the valley as you sit and enjoy the local wine from your balcony

Beautiful pre fab box hotel overlooking bucolic scenes in the Douro valley outside Porto. Nice pool that party enjoyed. Great continental breakfast. Can have food delivered — was pretty good.

Magical location with beautiful views overlooking the vineyards. A luxurious place you can relax after a day of exploring the valley and wine tasting.

The house was a pleasant surprise, not only is it very picturesque and faithful to traditions but it has all the amenities we need for a vacation.

Beautiful views over Douro/Pinhao valley. Really classy furnishings. Our host was really kind and gave us many useful information on the area. We got a free wine at the beginning. Overall perfect.

Perfect mountain retreat nestled in the heart of the Douro Valley. Quiet, clean, beautiful views, charming decor, friendly and helpful hostess. Breakfast is just right. Easy access to A4 highway.

Comfortable hotel, very attentive staff. Very varied breakfast. The balcony where coffee is served has a wonderful view.
