What a marvelous place to stay!
Located in the center of lovely Provesende the owner and the staff provide everything you need.

Will start with the positive:
Fantastic location above the Douro Valley. The Manor House is located in a vineyard but the wines are made elsewhere. Only a small number of rooms so reserve early.

We had such a wonderful stay! The owners were incredibly kind and communicative, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.

Our stay at Casa do Arco was outstanding! A gem of a guesthouse, with incredible views of the Douro valley. Restaurant didn’t really deliver at the price they were charging, however.

Truly one of the most exceptional places I’ve stayed at. It’s a quick taxi ride from Pinhão train station in a small, quaint town called Sabrosa.

We enjoyed our time at this Quinta — it is beautifully located & peaceful. The area inside is lovely too. However, there were a few things that disappointed us.
— lack of mini fridges in rooms.

This is strictly for wine tasting. It was great! Marta was no knowledgeable and taught me so much about the process. She answered all of my questions and encouraged them. Wines were lovely.

We really enjoyed our experience at Quinta la Rosa. We booked a private tour and tasting for 4 people and had a great time. The team was super friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable.

It's a nice, small hotel, the decoration is modern and the room was very clean. A little bit outside the village, you can look from your window at the center.

I visited this Quinta during the olive and wine festival for the past four years, beautiful views over Provesende and the silences of the valley as you sit and enjoy the local wine from your balcony
