Central location. Very good attention, very amable and attention receptionists. Availability of PARKING (very important in Porto). To have two stars, air conditioning included. In addition, I ordered gluten-free and lactose-free breakfast and they put it on.

Clean, quiet and safe. Nice staff. Good location. I did not expect luxery. This was all I needed. Thank you so much :) Turid from Noruega.

The hotel is in the middle of town, very close to train station, easy walk to here and there and very safe. CAN'T beat their price! Receptionists are nice and helpful. We are 3 ppl and got 4 beds. Room is big and clean. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Will stay here again next time!

Very central hotel.

A little dated. Ideal location The breakfast is very average. The reception is warm.

The positive first: the hotel is located centrally. But this is where the list of Hotel de Paulista’s advantages ends. Already when we checked in, the receptionist informed us that we had to pay cash instead of credit card, demonstrating rather theatrically how – “we are sooooo sorry” – their credit card machine didn’t work. When we finally convinced him that we really didn’t have the cash amount on us, another credit card machine was swiftly produced, which miraculously worked no problem. Then we learned that the advertised hotel parking is not only at another hotel two blocks away but also cost 15 euros extra for the night, which is more expensive than a whole day in the guarded underground city parking around the corner. In the morning, the shower didn’t work. When we informed the employee at the desk, she just told us to keep waiting, never mind that messed up our plans for the day. Eventually, she gave us the keys to another bathroom on a different floor so that we had to parade through the whole hotel only to have a shower. This in itself is not the end of the world. Problems sometimes do occur. But you expect at least a token gesture (a partial refund? a free breakfast? a hot cup of coffee? maybe just a friendly apology? ). Not in this hotel. The employee kept insisting that “the shower problem occurs only rarely, so a refund is not possible”. Immaculate company logic.

Basic hotel. Didn t enjoy the noise at night. It was cold in the bathroom even with closed windows. Really good services and enjoyable hosts! Good advices and tips. Multi language too.

It is a place with excellent location.

Okay for the price (30 EUR per night in February). The bathroom has a bathtub but it is missing the plug so it's useless. The airconditioning can be set to warm the room up — I was not able to do that in the previous two hotels and was freezing. The reception is open 24/7, you leave the key with them. Wi-Fi is working well. Only the table in the room is not very good — it obviously predates laptops :)

Terrible hotel. Good location. 2 stars I would give 1. They did not put toiletries and bottle with the liquid soap says 5 Euro. 5 euro breakfast you can get much better in cafe on the street. Room and bed horrible. Just 1 night was enough. Sleep and go.

The rooms and the bathroom clean, good deal, something outdated.

Good attention to the customer, they strive to understand you and you get them, good price and centric. We like it very much.

Clean and decent hotel in city center. Not very special but good value for money.

Very central (in the middle of Rua's allies) but rather old.
Still used classic keys to the doors of the rooms, so every time you go you have to leave it at the reception so that you don't have a copy. Yet it seems very unsafe because if you're in the elevator no one sees you out and you can go with the key calmly.
