Rooms are nice but terrible service. Problem with housekeeping. Heard woman complain at front desk yesterday at 6:00PM that room was not yet cleaned. My turn today… returned to room at 4:00PM and still cleaned up by housekeeping.

Location is excellent. Rooms are small. I wouldn’t recommend eating breakfast here. Instead, go to a local bakery for a breakfast. Receptionists are super friendly. There’s cheap parking lot on the other side of river.

Well located in Ribeira next to the Douro River, a stone throw from the Dom Louis I bridge, this hotel ticks many boxes. Contemporary design, friendly staff and a sumptuous breakfast buffet. Pick a room with a terrace and enjoy a great view across roofs and the Douro River with the famous port wine houses directly across.

Perfect hotel for a city break in Porto. The rooms are quite small, but from my point of view you don't care, because you want to stay in the city all the time anyway.
The hotel is very clean and modern. Breakfast is also very good.
The best is certainly the central location, so you can return briefly to the hotel at any time when you're on the road.

Helpful, polite staff. The food was good but unfortunately not great. It was sparkling clean. A small improvement on the food and it would have gotten 5 stars.

One of the most charming hotels in Porto. The rooms are spacious and bright. Reasonable prices. Excellent breakfast: a varied, healthy and plentiful. Accessible to people with reduced mobility. Highly recommended.

It's very near Palacio da Bolsa, good restaurants around as well as several activities. The rooms are quite small.

! The location of the hotel is very good. But that's not enough. Room service is not available in a price-performance ratio. We live in the side building (! ) above the bar, but this part does not seem to exist. The cleanliness leaves nothing to be desired, as this part does not exist. Friendliness overall difficult and the season begins. Pity and not a little money.

We were placed in this hotel for a couple of nights by our cruise company prior to a Douro river cruise. The hotel is well situated, near to the river and some of the tourist sites and is in an attractively converted building with very nice architectural touches. We (two couples), had rooms in floors above the main hotel entrance (Rua Infante Dom Henrique), and despite double glazing, both suffered from extensive traffic noise throughout the night — horn honking, accelerating cars, motorcycles, etc. When we went to reception the first morning, there was already a queue of people asking for room changes and so we were turned down, as was our request for ear plugs. The breakfast in the downstairs restaurant was very mediocre, with a poor selection of cereals, cold meats and hot food selection. The toaster could barely colour the bread and the coffee dispenser was so slow, long queues formed at both of them, partially blocking access from the tables to the food. On the upside, we were only had to suffer the traffic noise for two nights and there is an excellent little restaurant across from the hotel, called the Winebox, which we would thoroughly recommend.

A fiasco, single room, for two. Little maintenance on the cleaning products and deficient the auxiliary furniture. Very basic breakfast. And no parking, not even to leave the suitcases. A single elevator that at the peak hours, forced you down the stairs. I won't be back.

We had a great start with a very warm welcome plus discount plus upgrade. The view is amazing.

Rooms are clean, but of little space, the location is surrounded by many sightseeings. Breakfast open buffet is so limited. Only one elevator. Ongoing renovations.

Great Hotel! Nothing to reproach place very well located, in the center of Porto next to the Douro (river) and nice view of the city.

Small rooms and not according to the category of the hotel. A lot of investment in common rooms: reception, Bar… and the rooms disappoint. They should temporarily eliminate the rooms that give to the property next door due to the great work they are doing. They start a drill noise at 8:00 in the morning behind your bed.

We are staying in the hotel, the location is fantastic although the basic room is the smallest I have ever been in my life.
We came back from eating and we went to take the welcome drink by the hotel bar and they did not have served justifying it only for the day of arrival.

The hotel is centrally located, and the river and the Old Town are within walking distance. The check-in was done smoothly. The room was a bit small, but has everything you need. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Superb hotel in the center of Porto and practically on the edge of the Douro… a summary a perfect geographical location allowing to make a foot. Breakfast is very nice. The only "snag" for me… the room Neta not very bright as 1 window that looked on a small street very narrow… but when you visit one is more often out than in.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast is nice. Location is perfect. 5 minute walk to the river. 10 minutes across the bridge to the port wine cellars.

Very well maintained hotel with nice details. However, we were handled a bit unkindly at the check-out, although there was nothing going on at the reception. The standard room has no view, but is beautifully furnished. Unfortunately, the window didn't even tilt. The breakfast was very manageable, yet tastefully prepared and fresh. The breakfast ladies were very accommodating!

Beautiful loft-style room for our junior suite and spectacular view. Some reception staff misinformed us about timings and local venues but all in all, a lovely place and would stay here again. Housekeeping could make a bit more effort with refilling coffee/tea and cleaning up.

Room 231-junior suite. Never again. Shower, no bath, road side, rude and unfriendly staff (except one maybe) so noisy during the evening and night that opening a window for some fresh air was impossible. One day with only hot and boiling water. After asking at the counter to solve the problem we where left without answer. Been traveling for 35 years but never had such a bad experience.

Only stayed for a night in Porto, was kind of worried about the location of the hotel, right in the heart of Porto, although beautiful and thriving with life agitation and lust we were able to have a very restful and quiet sleep! Staff was awesome, very polite and helpful! Would definitely stay here again!

I really think this is a beautiful place, however the problem is that construction is being done next door. They are using jack hammers the construction starts 0800 and ends about 4pm. I asked the desk if the noise would be bad and they said no. I called the desk from my room while the jack hammer was going and asked for ear plugs, they didn't have any. Seriously if you know you have loud construction going on wouldn't you not rent those rooms; advise the people you are putting in the room that the noise exists; have ear plugs handy. I did ask to be moved but they only had suites available, highly doubt it since a large group just checked out. They weren't rude they were just ambivalent to the customer. It is a beautiful hotel, but the noise and lack of customer care really turned me off to this place.

Clean and modern, great location. But don't book a "basic" room, go "standard" at least. In basic, it's so tight, you have to walk sideways around everything. The hotel is made up of old adjoining properties. They have done a great job of renovating, and are still adding on, but it makes for some confusion getting around the hotel. You almost need a guide to find your way to your room the first few times. This place would be no good for anyone who is not reasonably fit. The bathtubs are REALY high and you have to be a bit of a mountain goat the get to and from the breakfast room. It is wonderfully modern and the staff and location are great.

Great refurbishment of an old building.

Extraordinary rehabilitation of five buildings in the historic center of Porto, Heritage of Humanity, to achieve this fantastic hotel with 90 rooms with the facilities, impeccable guest rooms and modern design very nice.

After the visit to the Carris de Santiago de Compostela, we decided to stay in another chain hotel Carris and the Porto did not disappoint us. The service was perfect and everyone was very attentive. The old building of the hotel has been renovated with an incredible taste and the design does not disappoint, it is beautiful. In addition, the situation is perfect and the ribera del Duero is a few meters. Any other point of the city's tourism is at a good distance from the hotel. The rooms, although I had read that they are small, are sufficiently large and modern to spend a few days. In addition, the Wifi was great and the breakfast was more than full, but without anything of the other world. In short, the hotel we loved, and we were able to descandar of luxury after our days of touring the city.

Checking in was problematic but Lilian (Hotel Manager) more than sorted everything out, and she was very professional and wants our stay to be good. So far we would highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing we didn't. Caro. Charge 25€ by using a parking external when in the own parking there are bonds of 15€. Poor cleanliness in rooms, bad service. Good location.

Hotel modern and located perfectly!

I was delighted. New, super clean rooms, very comfortable, centrally located and very nice for the originality of the design of the common areas. I will repeat. Highly recommended.
