What a special place to stay. We booked for 2 nights but didn’t want to leave, so requested another 2 nights. Isabel is warm and welcoming and all the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautiful and we loved the quirky charm that oozes from the thick stone walls. The breakfasts always held a little surprise treat and were a healthy start to our day and the wine grown there is also very good. We will definitely return and are very happy to recommend Quinta De Freixieiro.
Quinta de Freixieiro was a magical home for the weekend of our wedding! When looking for a place to prepare for the day of our wedding, we saw Quinta de Freixieiro online and seemed beautiful for this moment.
I have to say that we will always remember Isabel and this special place. Isabel was the most perfect host and helped us in everything on a very emotional day :) she welcomed our friends and family and sent them to the rooms we were dressing in. Some friends and the groom even enjoyed the swimming pool in the morning! Isabel cares about all the details: the breakfast is the best i’ve tried in a hotel, all rooms are really well decorated, the staff was really caring and even preparing lemonade in the rooms and decorating our room with lovely details! We will always recommend this beautiful Quinta to everyone, and we will be back for sure.
