Small but nice room, classic furniture.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. The beds needed getting used to (hard, smaller than a double bed and a plastic underlay) In the restaurant you ate very well and plentifully. And are busy building a pool.

We had planned to stop at another restaurant recommended in a guide but when we saw a stun of people getting off a bus and queuing, we feared spending a lot of time there, getting pushed around and losing our way so we pushed further and it was with delight that we landed at the Solar de Boaventura.
For wanting to be quiet we were since only guests of the establishment (restaurant not hotel) … We were given lunch in a nice bright veranda or in the nice dining room as well.

Fish soup for my wife (excellent), atum bife (a little overcooked for my taste) for me accompanied by a mixed salad, a large bottle of water, 2 espressos and traditional fresh for the cover, all for 26 euros.

Home polished but without heat. Pro service. Suitable for lovers looking for peace and quiet to look their eyes in the eye without being disturbed ;)

Nice hotel in a quiet location in the style of an old manor house. It has a leftover murmurs, where you eat well and get huge portions! Only drawback: In the rooms it is very drafty at night, as only with a not exactly efficient electric oven is heated and the old windows do not close well. We were there in April, maybe this is better in the summer!

Nothing is happening in the village, no restaurant and only a snack bar! To experience something, a car ride is required!

Very quiet, nice and at a good price. The road to get there can be somewhat convoluted but it is the price to pay for the tranquility. There is a somewhat bigger parking, more sweet choices at breakfast and a more reasonable price in the restaurant. Otherwise the room is clean, large and comfortable. Very quiet and cozy Hotel, ideal for couples. Nice view from the glazed area.

Amazing location, don't listen to the guy who felt cheated that this was near other houses — it's called a village! Absolutely beautiful gardens and an historic main building, with the rooms in more modern spacious and light annex. Great bar, and the food here was excellent, as was the wine selection. Topped off with friendly staff, quiet and stunningly beautiful environs and try the bar at the very bottom of the road, overlooking the Atlantic. Heaven.

Nice, clean hotel with sophisticated furnishings. It was larger than I expected, considering it is far off the beaten path. Wifi was good, but there was no connection in the room or in the restaurant.
