Such an excellent place to stay in Sintra. It’s location is perfect. Very close to restaurants and sightseeing. No complaints about our room. Simple and nice. The bathroom was clean. The only small problem was the full fridge, there was no room to keep our drinks cool. Our view was amazing! And breakfast was simple but good for us.

If you want a hostel with a very nice hotel feel, this is absolutely the place. There is a team of hosts that will make your stay very pleasant. As a tourist, you will be central to eating, shopping, and tours. I can see the Castle of the Moors from my room ❣️ Laundry service is only a five minute walk into town (I have been traveling for a month with 3 changes of clothes). The restaurant food is fresh and delicious. You have to include breakfast with your stay. Family friendly too.

Very comfortable, quiet, comfortable beds, and with box office. Nice staff, breakfast correct. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are mixed, and you don't have space to just leave clothes, rooms a bit small and at least when I was there, had no hot water, I guess it would be something timely.

Very clean, friendly, and well kept. Breakfast is included andthe shared areas are well decorated and well equipped. The beds are the most comfortably hostel beds I've slept in :)

We travelled through Portugal starting in Lisbon and Sintra was our second place we stayed. On the end I think we should have stayed a day longer. The location in the city was great and we even found a close parking spot for free. We got some recommendations where to go and where to shop which was good.
As an architect I really liked the style of the hostel and the room we got. Unfortunately I am not much of climber for high beds. Nevertheless I liked the idea of a box under the bed where you can leave your stuff in and close with your door-card.
The breakfast was at the building next to the hostel and it included everything you need. Hopefully I get the cake recipe, because I liked that one the best!

Very centrally located and clean. There is no possibility to wash clothes.

Very clean and modern. Close to city center. Most comfortable hostel bed I have stayed in (great for tall people). Staff are friendly and occasionally sociable. Good breakfast of bread, ham, cheese, bread, and pastries. Only complaint is that the shower did not get any hot water.

Very well located, we had a large single room for 2 people. Great bed very comfortable and the welcome at the top. We highly recommend Moon Hill Hostel.

Quiet, cozy, yet modern and lovely place, and also strategically located for you to start your journey at the enchanted Sintra village! The staff is very nice, the rooms are very clean and the breakfast has everything you need to give you energy for a whole day of outdoors activity and cultural enrichment that you're about to take home with you. Very new and very clean hostal. The staff is very friendly and it is very proximate to the historic city centre. The dorm rooms are big, clean and fitted with modern furniture. All in all the set up was very luxuryous. The stay was very nice and outstanding for its price per night.

Este é um dos hostel mais modernos em que já estive. É simples, acolhedor, bastante confortável e cheio de pinta. O atendimento é muito bom, a localização excelente e as condições impecáveis. Para uma noite em Sintra foi a escolha ideal mesmo no centro histórico. Se mais noites ficasse, a minha escolha não seria outra. Altamente recomendado!

Honestly the best hostel I have every stayed at in Europe. I have been travelling for 3 months now. Moon hill hostel is more like a 5 star hotel at hoestel prices. They have happy hour from 2-4 and 6-8 beers are 90 euro cents. The wine is amazing at 2.50 a glass and its well poured. The accommodation was amazing, very clean and the dorm rooms have there own bathroom. Best staff more then happy to help and always happy and polite. The restaurant is amazing. Make sure you try the duck :) ill be coming back for sure :)

Pedro was very professional and helpful. He reccomended me to see Quinta da Regaleira and I was amazed by that place. I overslept, so I missed the breakfast, but they let me sleep and do the check-out 2 hours later in a relaxed way. They also told me I could leave the luggage in the reception until midnight so I could visit Sintra easily (a thing that I was hoping for! ). I walked only 2 minutes from the train station to the hostel. Then another 5 to the city center. I had the 4 mix bedroom, very very clean, the bed sooo comfortable, the room was very nice, the view from the window also. Hot water with pressure at any hour. The whole hostel is situated in a mirific/wonderful place between hystorical buildings and you can see the beautiful moor castle and Palacio da Pena from the patio. The way the lobby and the patio and the rooms look better than in the photos. The restaurant Caldo Empanado that is a part of the hostel serves one of the most delicious meals I ever tasted. I was looking for it before my stay there and I was happy to see that they are a part of the same business. Keep up the good work Moon Hill Hostel! See you soon!
