Great place to spend your time when you visit Lisboa.
Friendliest People and made everything perfect for our stay. They definately know how to make you feel special. Beautiful house and romantic rooms.

A very warm welcome by helpful staff. Free afternoon coffee and cake and also! free wine — two types! Stylish rooms and nicely decorated common area. Garden with pool for a dip in hot summer ;-) — hope to return one day.

We had a fabulous stay — the staff are wonderful, the room was fabulous with a lovely balcony, breakfast plentiful with lovely food, the location is perfect for everything. I cannot rate Casa do Barao highly enough and the staff are wonderful. An absolute must to stay at.

The amazing staff at Casa Do Barão really make this B&B an amazing place to stay in Lisbon. The beautiful old building with great breakfast, all day refreshments and snacks plus a great little garden terrace and pool to cool off in after a long day make this a great choice. The staff continually went above and beyond my expectations which made the stay even more special. 11/10!

We spent 5 nights here and absolutely loved our time. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff who go the extra mile to make your stay wonderful. Breakfast was delightful each morning. Highly recommend!

Seriously love it here. It’s a beautiful old converted building, ultra chic, contemporary and right in the heart of everything that is wonderful about Lisbon, but tucked away on a peaceful street. The host Sara is fabulous. So friendly and informative. In fact nothing is too much to ask. All the staff are gracious and lovely, and the lady who provides our delicious breakfasts also deserves a mention.
The rooms are spotless, great linen, shower, space. The suite at the top with a private terrace and view is to die for but I’ve stayed in the smaller rooms facing the street in the past and they are just as stunning.
Thanks for a great stay and also for my bottle of wine which was most appreciated x.

We stayed here last week and I can honestly say it’s the nicest place that we’ve ever stayed. It’s centrally located and has such a friendly and cosy atmosphere. Sara and Roberto were fantastic hosts and made our trip to Lisbon extra special by recommending lots of lovely places for us to visit. Thank you so much for an amazing stay. We will definitely be back!

Due to the good reviews we were very much looking forward to the hotel. Unfortunately, the staff is impersonal and rude.

I highly recommend this B&B. The hosts Sara and Roberto were great from the beginning t’il the end of our stay. Their recommandations were very helpful such as what to visit, restaurants etc… The B&B itself was wonderful. Well located. Loved the spacious room with kingsize bed, small terrace with a view, nice shower. The breakfast was also very well prepared and it was nice to be able to take it inside or outside depending the weather. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the small swimming pool due to weather that was ok but not warm enough. You should stay there if you visit Lisbon. You won’t regret it! Thanks again to Sara and Roberto for making our stay for my husband’s 50th Birthday the most enjoyable!

A gem in the center of Lisboa. Great location in Chiado, the house is intimate and beautifully done up with cozy common areas, and a very lovely garden with lemon trees. Friendly service, complimentary cakes and coffee around the clock, and breakfast is a delicious buffet.

I think the best place we have ever been! Had a wonderfull stay together with my girfriend. The arrival was very nice, Roberto gave us some great tips and made us feel very welcome in Lisboa. Sara also was a lovely host and always ready to help. Complimentary (homemade) cookies / pies / brownies / coffee / tea /Port / musqat. We also got a free upgrade of the room, very kind. Everything looks beautifull and makes you feel comfortable. Breakfast is very very nice, everything is fresh and it looks good!

Accommodation in a prime location! Very attentive and helpful hosts who have lots of good tips for Lisbon ready. The whole house is very lovingly furnished and offers a rich, balanced breakfast. Tea and coffee are available free of charge at all day, other drinks are available for a small fee, and cakes and biscuits are at your disposal in the afternoon.

Beautiful place located in the most vibrant part of Lisbon. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Casa do Barao! Roberto and Sara were wonderful hosts, the room was beautiful, and the daily breakfast and treats were delicious. We loved the neighborhood — we felt safe, there were great restaurants all around, and easy access to public transportation. We would absolutely stay here again!

We love the place, the authenticity of the house, the artistic balanced decoration, the noble library, the garden, the morning and the rest of the day buffet and the service of ultra kind and helpfull people. Next to the five star quotation, we would like to add a big smile. Thanks for having us.

What a place this is! Somehow balances being right in the middle of things without being in the tourist trap. The interiors are spotless and beautifully decorated and the outside garden is lovely and quiet. The pool is perfect for a dip in hot days and you forget you're right in the centre of a busy city. Roberto was a perfect host, can't recommend this highly enough. Hope to return in future.

We LOVED Casa Do Barão! It's a wonderful escape in the middle of Lisbon, offering a quiet refuge and access to one of the cities coolest neighborhoods. Sara and Roberto were very helpful with recommendations, reservations, parking and whatever else we needed. Breakfast in the courtyard is fabulous and hands down my favorite part was… those room terraces though! Highly recommend Casa Do Barão!

Secret haven in the mist of hustle and bustle.

Excellent location close to Baixa-Chiado metro station and Cais do Sodre train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere were peaceful and relaxed. Breakfast was good, complimentary water, Tea, coffee, cakes and Porto wine were available. Beautiful garden and even a small swimming pool. Rooma are spacious and clean.

You feel most welcome in this tastefully designed hotel. Excellent location in the heart of Lisbon. Homemade breakfast under the lemon tree.
