I spent 10 magnificent unforgettable days in Lisbon… and Memmo Alfama was every part of that experience. Such a great location, all the staff were amazing … I looked forward to coming back to the sunrise and champagne breakfast. The sunsets just as spectacular. Memmo is at the heart of the most beautiful city to get lost in. But I always found my way back to Memmo, the face In the stone along the way to guide me. Thank you Beatriz, Alfonz, Luis, David, Wakenya and the one who showed me the secrets to find my way home Manuel for making my experience in Lisbon one I will never forget. I will be back. Ciao 4 now. Muah.

A beautiful setting in historic Alfama is a great start. That is quickly followed up by a warm welcome on arrival, and consistently friendly and attentive staff throughout the stay. You absolutely must spend some time at the rooftop bar. Great views. Relaxing atmosphere. Excellent drinks — I recommend the Memmogroni. Top location. Top service. Top experience.

Initially when we walked in, we were turned away, but upon going back again and doing a bit of gentle pleading, they allowed us to go up. We were being allowed in at the same exact time that others were being turned away. So… Reservations are highly recommended. Fantastic view, ambiance, and service! S/O to Carolina at the front desk for graciously letting us in! :) Ps. There is an official Vhils artwork just outside of the hotel!

5 great nights here at this cool and beautiful hotel. Friendly staff and very helpful. Amazing view and location in town. Would come back again tomorrow. Only very slight issues are sometimes breakfast was a little unorganized and our bill needed a review before leaving but quickly fixed.

This is a review of terrace that comes highly recommended. Nice view but very overpriced drinks and food. So many better options. Do not recommend eating your $ and time.

We went only to the terrace to have a couple of drinks because a friend told me the views were espectacular and I have to say that hotel is pretty cool, integrated in the city that you cannot even think it’s a hotel. The staff is very nice and the terrace is really good to have some drinks or even to eat. You can book a table and they have different menus. The views are okay but not thaaaat good like my fiend told me.

This review is just for the bar on the rooftop. Beautiful and peaceful. A local recommended this place to us and you just let the reception know you want to go to the bar. The view is amazing, over looks the river and on the side is alfama. Just a great calm vibe to relax.

Great location in the heart of Alfama. Walking distance to everything. Very friendly staff who soeak multiple languages. It's off the beaten path which means quiet. A wonderful terrace looks out onto the water and the views are spectacular for morning breakfast or evening drinks. We will be staying again.

A really nice hotel with a great view, very central with good bus and tram connection. Supermarket and many small restaurants are within walking distance. It is also within walking distance of the hotel. In good weather you can also enjoy breakfast on the terrace, the very blunt knives are easy to bear:-) A room with a terrace is definitely worth it.

On arrival, the room that was assigned to us did not suit us… the very professional manager was able to find the solution by outclassing us. Very nice location with views of the Tagus and the old town. Breakfast was excellent. Great choice at the buffet and card for the eggs without supplements and champagne too. Staff at reception very attentive. I'll be back. Thank you again for your professionalism.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Rooms are not huge, but for the Alfama still very nice. The bar and pool have amazing views.

Good looking hotel in a cool area. Service is horrific although. Tried to email hotel multiple times before arrival, no response. Called them to ask to ask for something. Upon arrival to the hotel what we asked for wasn’t done. When we asked hotel to make reservation at a restaurant for us we were told to go online and do it ourselves. We were quite shocked at such response. Needed more hangers, had to ask three times, wait for two hours and got only 4 extra hangers with a line that they don’t have anymore. Quite shocked at horrible guest treatment.

Modern but sympathetic to the past. Nice roof top bar but the food is limited. Not easy to find.

This hotel is amazing! The staff is extremely nice and offer great recommendations about restaurants, sightseeing, and directions. They will also get you a cab within minutes. The rooftop view is awesome with a pool. Breakfast in the morning is good and offers a great variety to choose from. I will definitely stay here again!

Roof terrace bar with great views, infinity pool, very tasty food and a good choice of Portuguese wines. I didn't stay at the hotel, probably for the best as I might never have left. Lovely.

The theme of this place is "nice but nothing special". Rooms are somewhat spacious but they don't even have complementary water. This would be fine if it was 3 star hotel charging £100 a night but for a 4 star hotel charging over £200 a night it's pretty unacceptable.

By far one of the best places I have ever stayed it. Very centrally located. The breakfast with hand squeezed juice is not to be missed. The staff is delightfully helpful. Rooms are impeccably cleaned. The views from the terrace are amazing. If you are staying in Alfama this is the place. Has kept all the charms but added all the modern cons. Karina (sp) who helped with breakfast was super attentive and charming. I really can't say enough good things about the place. Oh and the bread — divine!

Design at the height of expectations, a pleasant place with stunning views of the Bay of Lisbon, the functional room and the breakfast buffet a 10. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Nice place to go for a drink, actually. Don't know how good the hotel service itself is because I've never had the need to book a room. The hotel is very Scandinavian looking, actually, and the beverage selection is great.
