My husband and I stayed here for four nights in early November. What a gem! The history of the rice farmhouse has been maintained and honoured both in the building and the country hospitality.

Easy access quality hotel with parking in central Coimbra.
This hotel is easy to access if you are driving to Coimbra. The car park is below the hotel down a ramp.

Just the one night but it was good.
Buffet evening meal was very good, lots of choice, chef with a griddle if you wanted something different.
Good quality wine, not overpriced.

Really big rooms. Decide is a little tired and could use some updating — carpets in the room need to be replaced asap. Very helpful staff.

However, two things were annoying.

I spent a week in this charming beautiful hotel. It’s extremely clean, quiet and centrally located in Coimbra.

Great location. A 10 minute walk across the bridge to city center. Restaurants and cafes located across the street. Third floor room is not for older people or tall people.
